not excelling in academics, athletics, careers, as measured by comparisons to others, is just how life is. It's not a pathology which requires seeing a therapist. The therapist will tell you to just accept it. There's a whole counseling theory called Acceptance & Commitment Therapy,

Self concept this is crap childhood to bust dealing with racism, never had time to think about self .. Indoctrinated with fear, Paralised in the schools racist area and college so much microaggresion...

Self concept try dealing with racism all you life 40 year's of it l had to leave the UK and was born there . A rubbish concept ..
