I remember him starting his rookie year with an ankle injury. He aggravated it a couple of times early in that year and it felt like he couldn't catch a break. I was so frustrated as a fan because I was a true believer early on and I wanted to watch him play. I didn't expect him to be as good as he turned out to be but man what a ride for me as a fan. EVERY freaking game he did something special. You just had to be there. Manu's first 7 years in the league was the most I ever enjoyed watching basketball.

I've been watching Basketball since the early 1970's. I watch clips of Manu every playoff year since he retired because to me the playoffs just aren't the same without him.I had NBA league pass just so I could see every game he played in.I did my own little boycott of the NBA by not watching 90% of the last 2 regular season games because I was upset Manu was not included in the 75. I loved everything he did on the court but his drive and never quit attitude is what I will always love about Manu ( El contu si on )the most. He remains my #2 all-time favorite player only behind Michael Jordan.Thank You Manu for a fantastic ride.Love You Forever!❤

Until Nikola "The Joker" Jokic's breakthrough, I usually claim Manu is the biggest draft steal almost in the past 30 years. Glad Springfield, MA still preserves traditional qualifications to be a HoF. For the sake of fan-pleasing commodity, Manu and Tony Parker were ignored in 75th Team and it's a travesty, even more "Judas#2" is included. The NBA tolerates disloyalty and backstabbing, after all.
