Hell yea Timber! Can’t thank you enough for all the kind words man ❤ For the people who think you can’t smoke and save an entire moose, oh yes you certainly can. When you’re out there and every minute of each day is dedicated to survival, there is almost no limit to what can be done.

This was my favorite episode so far! When you found that fish again I knew it had to be a gift from God. When Dub was wet and lost ...oh wow... kept everyone on the edge for awhile. Thanks for these recap videos.

Enjoying these recaps so much! I hope you are transcribing them to conceivably have the foundation for a great book...more your insights than technical bushcraft. I think a lot of people are as interested in the psychology behind the experience as the physical.

Thanks for the clarification on the moose and how you processed it. I'm sure it took a lot out of you during that 6 days, hardly any rest I beat. Appreciate you sharing that.

This has become one of the best seasons, top notch contestants, in particular yourself and Dub, rooting for both of you, think I know where its gonna land though :) Between season 6 with Jordan and Woniya battling it out, and this season, its a hard choice, both are real cool seasons, with some cool cats in the run-up. Both you and Dub are thinkers, fun too, with the skills and the mental game in place, gonna be a blast watching the final episodes.

Your moose kill and the processing of it was an epic Alone episode. It was incredibly interesting. Who cares if someone casts doubts. I don't. Timber, man, can i come to your house if the grid collapses?

Timber, the episode where you were pounding your chest made me think of the time Laurie, Ken Schell, and I were driving up to your house for a visit. You and your brother saw us and hid under the grape vines along your driveway. I laughed and told Laurie that you were hiding out from us. We enjoy watching survival shows, and you have made this one extra special. Good luck, and we pray you are the last one there! Blessings to you and your family. Barbie

Your way of expressing things is so entertaining. "You can't tell what's going on in that moose's life..." that's very true. That moose might've just had a fight with his family, he might've been having a mid-life crisis, we just don't know :)

i can surely say that God Almighty has delivered me from all of my troubles, and not because i deserved it. maybe to show how gracious He is and to gain even more glory for Himself. all the good i know has been accomplished for me. praise the Most High. you are correct, you have not because you ask not. and when ya ask, you hope to spend what ya get on your pleasures. but whoever asks shall receive, whoever seeks will find, and whoever knocks, the door will be opened.

Thank you Timber for that review and the insight. Even got my wife to hear your mini sermon on faith with me. A question, I always wonder about salt. Are you allowed some salt for preserving meat or even just to keep up a sodium level?
@ordulf71934 ай бұрын
Some contestants bring along a block of salt as one of their 10 items. If you listen to the Alone podcast, their guest for the most recent episode (a contestant from a previous season) had made buttons on her parka from rock salt. I don't think that's allowed anymore.
@mtnsloper554 ай бұрын
Yeah, a bit sneaky but i would think that if you didn't choose to bring some salt, that could cause a medical issue especially after a month in the woods. Perhaps the fish provide some
@jjjjjjjjj30004 ай бұрын

You, Dub and William were fantastic on Alone! Although I have to admit I was secretly rooting for William as a Canadian Newfoundlander. I have a question. your jerky was hurting your teeth, I’m wondering why you didn’t soak or cook the jerky in water to soften it?
@chetgibson2674 ай бұрын
Must not be many rocks in the area? Didn't Dub make a fireplace with mud and dab? Hopefully you get it figured out and someone actually gives you a run for the $$
