I enjoy your ramblings, Cory. If you can find happiness alone you can be happy with others .....beautiful insight you shared. True for all of us. Do you still have a weight loss goal? You mention a time constraint...do you have to be back in Florida at a certain point? I know you have two sons, but I hope you will still hike ..... and take us along. We would miss your posts. You have blessed countless people with your heartfelt videos.

There are no real rules when it’s your hike....the joy is in the journey, not necessarily the destination, but i have a feeling this trail is taking you just where you need to be and you are finding exactly what you need along the way....you have found a lot of icing on the cake, in my opinion....😊❤️🐝👫🥰😍

2nd Chance, I have a suggestion for you & Little Bee. I just got back from the Rila Mountains in Bulgaria. They are stunning and have amazing hiking. Highest peak is about 8,000 ft., beautiful lakes & huts you can stay at. Bulgaria is very inexpensive, but best of all love permeates the people and the mountains. It seems like a very good fit for you.

Spot on Cory. You have the basics of your life change locked in now. Everything else is pure bonus. Beautiful, heartfelt, nourishing, rewarding, enriching.........bonus!!!!!! Do not worry about your weight number anymore. You have hardwired your new lifestyle. Your weight number will now adjust to the new "you" that you have chosen to be. (may I say a little here? The Cory that was?......is no different (in a very crucial aspect that I will elaborate on in a second) than the Cory that is now. By this I mean......you were always perfect. You were born perfect. You grew up perfect. And....surprise surprise.....you remain perfect!!!!!!!! It is only societal norms deem us to be "outsiders"/"others". And this is the beauty of casting yourself off of the hamster wheel. You get to experience the 'scales' peeling from your eyes. You see yourself in the true light. Now.....you have locked in your first goal of losing weight......(yes, yes, I know you have yet to reach your target but you will).....what, my brother, do you want for after the PCT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish you all the best and I send you fair winds from Ireland. As we say here....."go n-éirí an bóthar leat"! (may the road rise to meet you) Regards to yourself and little Bee. Mx P.S. Thank you so much for having the courage to include us in your journey. I am very much inspired and humbled by your beautiful humanity and humility. Shine on you crazy diamond.

We 1st must learn to be alone & love ourselves. Then we will appreciate the companionship & love of others. #4 Panda on PCT 2019 thru-hike. ALL I WANT IS YOU BY: Barry Louis Polisar If I was a flower growing wild and free All I'd want is you to be my sweet honey bee And if I was a tree growing tall and green All I'd want is you to shade me and be my leaves If I was a flower growing wild and free All I'd want is you to be my sweet honey bee And if I was a tree growing tall and green All I'd want is you to shade me and be my leaves All I want is you, will you be my bride Take me by the hand and stand by my side All I want is you, will you stay with me? Hold me in your arms and sway me like the sea If you were a river in the mountains tall The rumble of your water would be my call If you were the winter, I know I'd be the snow Just as long as you were with me, let the cold winds blow All I want is you, will you be my bride Take me by the hand and stand by my side All I want is you, will you stay with me? Hold me in your arms and sway me like the sea If you were a wink, I'd be a nod If you were a seed, well I'd be a pod If you were the floor, I'd wanna be the rug And if you were a kiss, I know I'd be a hug

Every time I'm hiking up a rough uphill I always wish I was riding my horse instead lol! The general rule is that a horse should carry no more than 20% of their body weight. So even a 300lb person would only need a 1500lb horse. Draft horses can be nearly a ton, so that's really not too hard to find! If you ever get a chance to ride, do it. I think you would enjoy it 😊
