Episode 89: The Suffering of Revenge with Clark Fredericks
Clark Fredericks has experience suffering on a level that very few can imagine. Growing up in a small town in New Jersey and coming from a middle-class family, Clark saw all the possibilities that life could offer. A chance meeting with a neighbor caused his world to crumble. Clark tells his story on this episode about how he was targeted, groomed, molested, and ultimately Raped by what townspeople saw as a normal average human being. Being forced to bear this burden alone Clark turned to self medication and risky behavior to numb his suffering. In this episode you will hear a story Scarier than any novel or Hollywood movie could dream.

Clark changed my life. I met him when I was a Corrections Officer at the County Jail where he was at. I found him on Facebook after he was released and became friends right away. I went back to school to study Cybersecurity and along the way I met my wife. I’m getting married next month and I can’t wait to have Clark at my wedding. I likely would have never met my wife without him.

Soft White Underbelly brought me here. This guy’s story is heartbreakingly tragic and unforgettable, but thankfully had a great ending. This man is an inspiration for all.

“The molestation and rape wasn’t what destroyed my life…the silence was.” Wow. Powerful. Breaking the silence and helping others helps breaks the cycle of shame. Heartbreaking interview, but so happy for Clark and that he’s found redemption.

No child should be exposed or be targeted by any predator sex offender. Totally understandable what he did to that predator. Evil one died.

@@thesufferingpodcast holy shit I just found u. My uncle was my abuser he was a prison gaurd. I wish his name was out there. His own sister my mother's in denial. I found a girl who was 2 years before me that this possibly happened to and in this state my family used to be in politics and still are. I don't care. It's taken enough from me and I don't want the bs anymore.

@@thesufferingpodcast I'm almost done with it. My abuser literally tried to sue me at 17 when I was made to attempt to press charges 3x. The detective used his nickname. The similarities are scary but mine was all within a year. ETA Idk how he did time I'd never be able to. The uniforms for law enforcement are big triggers bc he usually wore his.

I can’t imagine having to go through just 1 of 3 most traumatic experiences clark went through, 1) the sexual assault, 2) the animal abuse right after to inflict fear (you hear about animal abuse but not everyone witnesses it up close like that) and lastly 3) the fight to the death, from an outside view it’s easy to see the satisfaction of a rapist being killed but to be the one to do the stabbing you can tell he means it when he says it was horrific.

For sure I 100 percent support him for not only what he did to Pegg because pegg was an evil demon that seemed to control his life that needed to be defeated but for Clark to also get another chance at life to change himself but more importantly help others by showing that if more victims open up that they will have love and support.
