I am super duper super excited to knit a sock with everyone. I am a bit late to the party, but better late than never. I was caught up and anxiously awaiting the next 6 rows, I almost finished them before the end of today's vlog, so I will try again tomorrow. I remember knitting the Christmas balls in 2020, I think, but I was unable to finish as my laptop died and my phone was ancient. I'm so very excited for this year's knit a long. Pictures are such a challenge. I have so many and need to get rid of at least 80% of them. It's quite the project for sure. I've been decluttering my home for about 4 years. I have lots of stuff, especially craft supplies and yarn. I don't want my children to have to manage any of that stuff when I die. I know i have more yarn than I have years to live to use up all that yarn. The funny thing is a lot of the yarn I got at estate sales where that person is no longer alive. The yarn lives forever - but not the maker! HAHA You've published 10 Books!

Yippppeeeee, I was hoping you were going to do the afterthought heel---so easy ! 10 books.. . . so here's the problem with organizing a new room. What you envision initially as your way of organizing might not really work in the long run. Thus a new way to organize is created. After a while, with the acquisition of new materials or crafts (or thrift store finds!), eventually this second way of organizing might not fit. Oh, heavens, it can go on and on and on!

I added up all the books in all the different languages....I got 89 books published. I caught up last night...I'm on row 130 Woohoo! It's a lot of fun...my first sock. I used a stitch marker to show the beginning of the round and the half round so that I could check my stitches. Thanks for the fun.

I've lost sleep since the US election and it showed in my knitting today. I got off by a row and had to unknit an entire row, then a few rows later, knitted with the red tail instead of the red working yarn, unknitted that, and somehow - despite my efforts - grabbed the tail again, and had to unknit again. With all that a few dropped and split stitches during the unknitting I spent almost 2 hours on the 6.5 rows. Ugh! It was still a joy to knit while I listened to an old "Sit and Knit". You've published 9 hardback books together, 1 booklet together, and 1 hardback book with other authors, so depending on how you are counting your published books, the answer could be 9, 10, or 11.
