Yes! I carry a journal with me everywhere I go. I write on the train, on the bus. It’s freeing and prevents me from divulging to the wrong people

This is a video that I’ve been needing. This is where I am currently at in my journey. Asking my inner child, “what do you need from me to allow you to trust me?”

Two layers, yes! The feelings won't go away immediately because we committed to and then *did* take the five deep breaths. We begin to turn the volume down. "Literally teaching your body a new physiological sensation connected to a thought." Wow!

I appreciate you both (you three) so much. I glean something new each time I watch the episodes (I watch at LEAST 3-4 times each!😆). Thank you.

Thank you for sharing. I've been needing this too. I played this vid twice in a row and i think it helps both to help me retain the info, and to keep my chores-time going. I mopped the whole space today. i think i'll do that from now on, play it twice in a row. I think ppl who believe least in self-words-of-affirmation need it most, speaking from personal experience. It does get easier with repetition. I am safe, i will work this out somehow.

Great video! Especially the part about ignoring racing thoughts. I was stuck in fight mode all day, couldnt wind down - tense jaw and shoulders. Deep breathing, new thoughts (I am safe), and tuning out mental chatter helped a lot! Thank you!

really appreciating the depth behind these valuable practices , yet so simple to do things in everyday life ... felt reassuring that many of these feel right up my sleeve . and I recently started collecting seeds from my travels in a glass bottle and keeping them by my window , so the nature safety signals are all around me now ! thank you so much : )

I stumbled upon your video. You may want to give a little info about yourselves and the book at the beginning of each video in case someone just found you. You seem knowledgeable and this topic is very relevant, however the edits are a little jarring, especially during a conversation about calming. Also I’m guessing you’d like to sell the books, so that’s why the display between you, but one book cover shown is helpful, while 3 seemed a little sales-y. I’d like to look up your other videos and find out more about you. Best wishes!

People have to stop throwing around these concepts, it isn't helping anyone, it's misleading and you end up getting stuck in your head. You have to take people by the hand and show them how it's done, "be present", yeah great but it's not helping anyone. I'm starting to integrate a lot of the healing journey, but I've lost precious years running into walls, because people can't teach these things properly. It's like if you tell someone "you're broke? okay get a job, save and invest money", you can spend decades making the wrong investments and being impulsive about the investments you make that could work out because you don't know how to manage what's going on inside of you emotionally, and you'll find yourself in the exact same spot years later, thinking that you're making progress. It's so counterprodutive.
