We at home usually eat Prawns every week. I always prepare like you did today which I learnt from my Mum. I usually add a litrle more dill seeds as it cuts off the heat from prawns and also gives a lovely aroma. Thanks Anoma. Gbu

Thanks for this . 😋 I believe people don’t eat it because it’s somewhat expensive and only will be enough for one meal after cooking . But in weddings parties I have seem people eat them like crazy because they don’t have to pay for it

I use Shrimp/ prawns in many of my daily meals. Mainly because it is recommended for a low calorie- high protein diet. I toss grilled shrimp in my salads and Cauliflower rice. When making Sri Lankan prawn curry, my mother recommended leaving the head on as well 😊. The prawn head can be used to make " prawn blachang" for Lumpraise. A point to ponder: I pay more for Kathuru- murunga leaves than i would for a pound of prawns/shrimp. 🫠. $7.99 vs $10.99.
