A solid, catchy track! I love the lyrical references to their older music. 'A return on the souls they sold' being taken from the lyrics to Nihilist and 'But some of us wish to exist' as a reference to the last album's title. I really enjoy how their lyrics echo throughout their career, it makes it feel like one continuous vision and story. I can't wait to hear the rest of the new record!

Loving the newer architects. The old stuff will always be sacred, but they do this style so well.
@bigboss86472 жыл бұрын
Architects, BMTH, Parkway drive, they're all sonically evolving, if you're still yearning for their old sound there are bands like Crystal lake, don't discourage a band from trying something new, they're not erasing the past, they're writing a new future One that might not be for you, but for them

Engineering breaks the new high in this one. Again!

That build up to the breakdown is as GENERIC as it can get. I'm so tired of this boring song structure man. Literally at least 80 percent of metalcore released this year and last year had that build up to a breakdown. Don't even get me started with that piss poor lackluster of a breakdown. This is sad. Once the kings of metalcore is now going on a downhill spiral. Sad

With love and respect towards one of the greatest bands to ever do it, the last four songs have been the same song..but a little different.

What made architects so great to me was that they took chances, just feels like they're more concerned about staying relevant than respected now.
@VNKNOWN_TX2 жыл бұрын
Yeah The Here and Now was a eye opening experience for them and I thought they learned the lesson that the fans don’t want a radio rock version of Architects. Then they came back with an absolute banger and had a really good streak but this one seems a little too far off the reservation for me.
