Span of Control Explained

"The ideal span of control" slide is missing "complexity of the work". In addition to the skill/experience of both managers and team members, the complexity and breadth of scope in the work they do influences the 'right' span of control. Complex projects and specialized work may require more attention from the manager/lead and having too many reports detracts from that.
