I swear to whatever god anyone prays to, these exercises pretty much gave me instant relief from choronic pain of past 8 weeks and more. I could not go to sleep because my ankle would lock up. I slept that first night without pain within 12 hours of doing exercises. It worked, thank you so much

Thank you for posting this it helped me so much. I’m pretty sure my mom had this and none of her foot doctors could figure out what was happening to her because she was old she lived with this pain for a year and it finally foot doctors didn’t know what was wrong with her foot countless boots and mri’s and none of them figured it out and thought it might be nerve pain so a neurologist gave her an Rx and steroid shots that’s the only thing they could come up with to help her. she can’t take pain meds her stomach can’t handle anything I’m thankful She got relief finally.

Thank you, this is so wonderful to watch❣️ Ive had this pain for 5-7+ years. Been to a few podatrist, xrays, arch supports, and explanations. Nothing helped with this issue. I was told my arches are falling and it would continue to get worse! Ha! Until now I watch your video on Cuboid bone and it makes much more sense. Too much time on my feet is the problem. 👍🏻 I will be faithfully doing your 6 reccomendations and hopefully back to working full time!!! Thanks and blessings to you for your service and sharing ❤ I'll keep ya posted on my progress too! 😊

I can see the video is a year old so you probably won't see this comment by now. In case you do I wanted to thank you for sharing this content online. I've been struggling for 6 months now with the cuboid syndrome. Watching your videos I realised what it was. In the meantime I was told I had plantar fascitis, a chronic sprain, then a longitudinal torn of the peroneal tendon, plus a bone edema on the head of the astragalus. No treatment was suggested so after a month I visited an osteopath who relieved my pain and allowed me to walk again without being in extreme pain. Unfortunately, after a few days the issue would be back. After 3 months I stopped trying and remedy providing short relief then added pain. After four months when I was given the results saying I had a bone edema, I started using crutches and finally got off my feet. At that stage I also had a recurring metatarsalgy. After wiggling my 5th metatarsal, cuboid and calcaneus I am now going to do the exercises suggested and will come back to comment on the results. I don't have enough words to express my gratitude. Many thanks!

As a Foot Doctor, I have come to appreciate the value of strenghtening the muscle-tendon foot complex and stretching out contractures. The intrinsic foot muscles especially are often overlooked. But "Doing exercises hourly".... good luck with patient compliance, lol.

Hello Dr. I have a question for you if you don’t mind. I’m not sure if I should try these exercises or not. I tried to avoid stepping a cord as I went down my deck stairs and landed somewhat on the outside of my foot. It hurt when I did it and then I had pain for a few weeks. I couldn’t really stay off my feet for any length of time due to work, but the pain did subside over some (is not painful unless I step on something uneven). The problem is that I still have some swelling on the outside of my foot and now have a bit of numbness in my last 3 toes. So I was wondering if i could be dealing with this syndrome or maybe even a possible fracture that hasn’t fully healed. If doing these exercises can help then I’d surly like to know so I can begin. Or if not, I’ll make an appointment for an X-ray and see my Dr.
@sadiea4381 Жыл бұрын
Btw, I have Lumbar Radiculopathy as well and hope to have an MRI in a few weeks. I wasn’t sure if maybe the numbness could be related to this since I have it in both feet along with cramping at times.

This is amazing! I've been in the throws of cuboid syndrome for 16 months... this gives me hope. I've seen some improvement in the last few days (before coming across this video) with leukotape/KT tape cuboid sling taping, so the absence of taping among the top 6 was conspicuous. Was this intentional? Thanks!

I love these recommendations. I’m immediately putting these to use for my self-diagnosed cuboid syndrome. I’m a personal trainer so staying off my feet for rest will be the hardest part. Couple questions- is icing indicated ? And what are your top sneaker recommendations? Thank you for this excellent video.
@epmanualphysicaltherapy3 ай бұрын
Hi Amy, Thank you for your kind words! We're so glad you found the recommendations helpful. It’s great that you’re taking action right away for your self-diagnosed cuboid syndrome. We know staying off your feet can be tough, especially as a personal trainer. As for icing, it can be beneficial to reduce any swelling or pain you might be feeling. Just be sure to do it in moderation, like 15-20 minutes at a time. When it comes to sneakers, we recommend choosing ones with good arch support. We don’t have a specific brand recommendation because what works for one person may not work for another. It’s best to purchase shoes from a store with a good refund policy so you can find the ones that suit you best without worrying about returns. Wishing you a smooth recovery, and thank you again for watching!

How long would you recommend doing this? And should I be resting the whole time or can I introduce walking or running again while doing the exercises?
@epmanualphysicaltherapy Жыл бұрын
Hi Caitlin, You want to do 10-second holds for each exercise however it is more important that you do them more often and that you feel a bit sore in both your feet and legs after you're done. If you start experiencing any pain you need to get off your feet immediately so as not to exacerbate the pain. In case you are interested we do have another video for outer foot pain. You can check it out here: "Outer Foot Pain- Everything You Need To Know About Cuboid Syndrome" kzbin.info/www/bejne/el7Lh6psmcppfac We hope that you can experience some relief soon. We'd love to hear how you are doing as you progress.🙌 Please take care! 🧡

i was afraid it was a pain reflecting in the feet from an organ, as i read about reflexiology, somehow i massages it with frankinsense oil for 3 minutes, it was painful and suddenly it popped!, later discover from your video it was due to the cubiod bone, the pain continue and repeat same, and has gone away however this video helps so much to know a good treatment and how not to overdo it, my question is,is this due to aging? sounds like is due to the tibial nerve and if that is the origin, then need to take care of my nerves.

What about chiropractic care along with physical therapy?
@epmanualphysicaltherapy7 ай бұрын
Hi Sara, we think chiropractic works great with physical therapy. You must find a chiropractor who is skilled at what they do otherwise they could exacerbate a problem so please do your research. 🧡

What happens if I feel some stiffness after doing the roll? And some nerve tension?
@epmanualphysicaltherapy10 ай бұрын
Hi Braden, If you're experiencing stiffness or nerve tension after doing the roll, it's important to listen to your body. It might be a signal that the intensity of the exercise is a bit too much for your current condition. We recommend pausing the exercise for now and waiting until the discomfort subsides. When you decide to try it again, consider lowering the intensity or modifying the movement to better suit your comfort level. Always prioritize your well-being, and if the symptoms persist, it's advisable to consult with a healthcare professional for personalized guidance. Lastly, if that technique continues to cause you pain, focus on the other techniques. Take care, and we hope you find the relief you're looking for!
