Thank you I'm going to try this method for relieving a burning stiffness in my upper right foot. I'm 58 years of age. I was afraid it might be some type of toxin or arthritic pain where it 🔥 burn sensation, stiffness as it comes and goes quite often as I will keep moving. I'm not sure it's only 2 months that started this burning pain and stiffness developed. Thanks for sharing this 💓🇨🇦

If you haven't already, will you please make a video about the chiropractic towel adjustment? Where the chiropractor wraps a towel around your neck and pulls upwards/horizontally from the table. I find thay it helps me so much but so many people say it's dangerous. Sorry for leaving this twice. Don't know where you're likely to see it.

After two sleepless nights of shooting pain on the top of my foot, unlike anything I have every experienced, I tried almost everything (icing, heating, resting, IB profen etc). The problem had come on at night and went away during the day, but the second night it came back again after 2 hours sleep and I was not finding any relief using ice etc. I was desperate having gotten again very little sleep by the morning. I got on line and found this video. I immediately went through all the exercises Dr. Rowe suggested and it was magical!!! The pain was mostly gone after the first two routines and by the end I was walking around pain free. Proof it worked was last night I got a full nights rest with no pain and today I am pain free. I can look at my foot and see it has returned to looking "normal". Thank you so much!!! What a difference you have made!!!

Please people, get x-rays to begin with. You may have Arthritis or the beginning of arthritis and may have to get a bone fusion operation. The longer you wait, the more damage you will make until the bone fusion operation won't even be possible and then you will be stuck in a wheel chair the rest of your lives. These exercises will not fix this problem and sometimes it is just the power of suggestion that makes you think it helped when a day or two later it comes back.

65 yo and backpacking the Florida Trail - which is FLAT ground. I’ve done a lot of backpacking in the past, but this easy trail has got me halted and in a motel due to foot pain. This series of exercises has immediately made my foot feel better/ pain is gone. Many thanks. I was considering heading home, ( I live in Montana) but I think I’ll add this to my hiking routine and give it another try. 😊❤

I had an injury to the top of my foot one year ago. Since then, my foot has been making clicking sounds when I walk. I followed your instructions and AMAZINGLY the clicking has stopped. Your exercises for sciatica relief also works immediately. I have shared that video with at least 50 people. It works. Now whenever I have an issue, I turn to you for relief.

Somehow, I happened to find your video, and I just wanted to tell you how much it helped me! I have had pain in the top of my left foot for 2 YEARS. God bless you! I had this terrible pain for 2 weeks and I feel MUCH better after first day of exercise! I could not walk properly and my hip was also hurting from limping. Dr. just told me that it takes time to heal a tendinitis, to take paracetamol and to wait for 4-6 weeks.

I had a mild sprain on the upper side of my foot, slightly to the left of the center, and there was significant swelling. After watching your video, I did the only 2 to 3 stretching exercises you recommended. The pain has completely gone away, and the swelling has reduced by 90%. After doing these exercises for the first time last Saturday, my feet were so relaxed that I could hardly believe it. It was almost if the feet were just dangling there not even attached to the rest of me anymore LOL This is going to help me get my mobility back so thank you so much. I got this top of foot pain after increasing 3x a week walks up to 2 hours. I've taking enough rest now and I"m so happy to get back into things again.

That is awesome. Most likely my top of foot pain is from increasing my running schedule by adding speedwaljing in between each running day. I do no less then 5 miles a day of walking and generally up to 10 miles a day on running days.

@@arlenesterner6311 Yes big increases like that can do a number on you. That was the case wtih me as well. And some other pelvis issues that I hadn't fully recovered from at that time which also meant some pinched nerves. I basically stressed out my system to the max lol Every now and then I still feel a sharp pain in the top of the foot but with a few deep breaths and consciously relaxing my body it's gone. I hope you feel better soon!

Hello Dr Rowe, I have been following you for a long time. Your exercises helped me so much. Right now, I am having so much calf pain but initially, the pain was on the top of my foot. It happened when I wore bellies after many years and walked a lot while wearing them. Now my calf pain is not going. I don't want to be on painkillers. The pain is not severe but there is heaviness along with moderate pain

Good night i suffers with my big toe i went to the doctor and i feel better and then afew weeks pass and it start hurting again its a lots of pain and my big toe swells

Thanks for the video. You can also stretch calves, hamstrings, quads and glutes. Make sure also to work out the whole leg in a balanced way. That helped me for years of having this pain.

If you read this, Do ALL of the exercises this guy mentions. I had an extensor tendonitis on my left midfoot and it was inflamed on a nerve making my foot extremely uncomfortable. Not painful though. I just couldn't sleep because it made me want to keep moving my foot and toes around to get rid of the pressure. This was the first video I saw and I'm glad I did. The exercises relieved all of the pressure immediately.

Your video popped up in my feed tonight as I was looking at other videos. I didn't realize top of the foot pain was an issue for people, other than those with small fiber neuropathy. When you have SFN, the top of the feet pain (flare) can come and go out of nowhere making it so painful to walk. Your toe rocker exercise is very similar to an exercise I do, only standing up. Face a countertop or dresser and hold on with both hands. Slowly raise your heels up so you are standing on your tippy toes like a kid (not on the toes, like a ballerina) and slowly go back down. If you have SFN, the first 3-4 times you do this will be excruciating, but after that it helps unlock that extreme pain on the top of the feet.

Great info! I'm in so much pain I can't do a lot of these but This is going to help a lot. I got tendonitis on the top of my foot after I broke a bone on the outside of my foot(5th Metatarsal). the bone healed but I babied the foot when I walked as it was healing and I got tendonitis. So painful!

I had very very bad pain in the top of my foot and ankle felt like it was sprung. After using the vibrating massager on the back of my Achilles and calf, I felt the tightness and relief. Minutes later the foot pain in the top of my foot left, I also am relieved of the straining pain I had in my ankle.

A few weeks ago I cramped on the tops of my feet, I cried like a baby and I didnt know what to do. I just kept rubbing and trying to stretch my feet but it lasted about 5 min but my feet felt strange for days. It was horrible. Okay, I think I know what my problem is now! Yay! I have to all these exercises to hopefully find relief. I crunched walked for a few days because I have a plantar's wart on the bottom of my foot. I was avoid putting weight on the wart and now, there's a lot of pain on the top of my foot and pain when I walk.

@@DrRowe My update; 24 hours later after following your very detailed instructions to a tee, I'm half way back to walking normal! My foot has much improved, thanks to you Doctor! I have a wedding to attend in less than a month and I do not want to show up hobbling around wearing a boot on my defected foot. Lol. Imagine that image with a cocktail dress. YIKES! I hurt my foot on Oct 4th from excessive running. The foot pain haunted me again and again for 2 weeks whenever i want to test my running ability. I went over a lot of resources and everyone is ONLY talking about RICE. My foot hurts again about 48 hours ago and I was unable to walk properly for 30 hours. With the fresh pain i just got, I really want to train my foot😢. I tried this exercise and my foot did not go worse, which is a good sign for me. I would give updates when I can get back running 😮😮😮😮😮

I guess this constant movement has worn down my feet. My foot pain is more towards the bottom of my foot (also I wear crocs, not sure if that’s bad) any other suggestions?

I am here because of severe upper foot pain in the middle. My feet swell daily but I think both of my feet are bad because I have flat feet I will try these stretches.

I have Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder and dislocate my toes daily. Podiatry want to operate and fuse joints. I really don't want this! Can you suggest anything else? :) This video was brilliant for my partner tho. He's feeling so much better! The sciatic one that I saw during the week was really helpful for me! :)

Great video Dr. But on the top left side of my foot just out of no where started giving me pain as I walk when flexing. When I wear wedged shoes I get some relief. I was told my foot doesn't want to flex anymore. What can I do to get relief?? Because any stretching exercises only cause more pain.
