Lorraine Dettbarn I know EXACTLY how you feel and what you're experiencing. After losing my grandmother and mother to brain aneurysms, a neuro surgeon told me I needed testing. Sure enough, I had 2 really large cerebral aneurysms. I'm 5 years post surgery and all is well, but i've lost my ability to focus and a study hand. I'm sending you warm thoughts and well wishes!!!

HEMI Momma Omg sorry for your losses! That’s so wonderful that the surgeon told You to get that testing!!! It probably saved your life! I hope you are doing well! Hopefully your concentration will come back! I had a brain injury from falling down a 20 foot high concrete and steel staircase, I started having epilepsy afterwards (my head cracked open and I was found 4 hours after I fell unconscious in a pool of blood) , I would have granmal seizures once a day then once a week then every two weeks then once a month etc , it took 10 years to get down to once a day so I’ve had over 100 seizures and it’s caused not only concentration problems but short and long term memory loss! I don’t remember anything from 0-26 years (I’m 36) and I only remember small chunks of things from 26 until now. I can go see a movie and a week later I’ll tell my husband I wanna go see a certain movie and he’ll be like “we saw it last week”! It really sucks because people will think I’m lying about forgetting things and that I just didn’t want to do it, like my ex friend (it caused us not to be friends) we would set up dates to go do things and I wouldn’t show up or he’d tell me to call someone and I would forget in 30 seconds or I’d promise to order something for him and forget immediately etc.! Some people don’t understand how difficult it is for others with concentration and memory problems!! I forgot my husbands birthday this year!

Juan Fernandez what the video did/does is “wake up the muscle memory, and creative flow”. I’m hoping that you’ve asked the question out of curiosity and not out of facetiousness. I’m a Pastor and we visit Seniors who suffer from demented or other forms of memory loss, and when we play different songs, of their genre, Po, Rock, Soul,... many remember and some even get up to people’s surprise and start dancing or even talking and remembering where they are and things of the past that people thought were long gone from their memories

Love It! Followed the guidelines, tips, and tricks. The StoneCoat white base with rust and black marble counter top turned out beautiful and covered the '80s style dark blue color with no problem. Some lessons learned. Take your time and don't rush it (each coat of epoxy took me 3 hours to "baby" the epoxy up the edges) Don't worry if the spray paint looks too definite at first, as you put on to epoxy coat and chop in color it layers beautifully. Finally, COVER the overflow port in the drain. I'm glad I filled up sink to ensure the overflow worked... spoiler ,it didn't. A lot of epoxy ran through drain hole during the process. I had to drill a hole through the epoxy to relieve the overflow.

This is the exact video I needed to see. We have a double vanity in our upstairs bathroom that needs to either be replaced or refinished we replacing it would be too costly. It has buff marks and what appears to be some super glue or something in the middle. We're gonna give the bathroom that nice rustic look so a gray rustic marble would look nice. I'll have to look into rustic color schemes to see what'll really be perfect because we also have to repaint the wood parts. I'll send in some before and after pics when we get that far.

Wow- I am doing this!! Couple questions: When you remove the drain flange and the epoxy drips and dries in the hole, will it affect the size and not allow the flange to set in? If so, what precautions can I take? What is the work time of the wet epoxy before it starts to set up? I would like a gray base and add veining - will painting the counter first with the paint/primer be enough, or should I tint the epoxy, and if so, can I use acrylic paint to tint? Are your products available at stores? Thanks GREAT VIDEOS!

If it is an undermounted sink, just cover it with plastic and tape. If it is an overmount you probably could loosen it from counter and lift it a couple of inches, but it would be easier to use to product if you detach it from the water supply lines and drain and remove it completely.

if you send the surface is because you waited too much between the first and the second coat. the perfect time is one hour, cause in that case you are obtaining a chemical grip. in your case is mechanical grip and is not as good as the first one. said that your idea of using spray colors to prevent the mess when the surface is not flat is pure genius and the results pretty awesome, bravo

Hi Mike! Thanks so much for your videos; you do an awesome job of explaining your process. I've noticed quite a few comments about redoing tub units, so here's my two cents. Years ago, we had a fiberglass tub unit re-done at a body shop, and I recall they used a marine paint. It had a great glossy surface, and cleaned easily (though, I never let my tub get heavily soiled before cleaning, so can't comment on using a ton of elbow grease or harsh cleaners, plus we had very hard well water to work against). I can't tell you if the surface was then top-coated with a clear gloss product, but perhaps it would be a good idea to speak to autobody painters who work on boats and get their feedback. This tub was used for about 8 years before a new home was built, and to my knowledge, and recall, it didn't have cracks in spite of some flex to the unit - not even around the drain flange. It was a solid colour and would have likely shown up easier than with the multicoloured layers, had it cracked or peeled. It may have dulled a bit over the years, but can't remember it being noticeable. Hopes this comment is of some value. Will stay tuned in to your vids, and likely toss in the odd question/concern :)

Nice work. I think when you have used the base silver coat or gray no need to add more powder color to clear epoxy. Some spray color can give the effect of marble. Is that right? thank you for the demonstration.

I brought my old cast iron bath tub from England I was wanting to have it refinished / Re enameled. Would the epoxy work? Does it ever come off?

Hello, Great videos and tutorials you give, we really appreciate that. I am curious about the longevity of your product as opposed to a sink refiinishing kit. I noticed you did these videos for display purposes about two years ago. Any updates from actual customers who may have actually resurfaced their sinks with this product? I'm curious to how long does it hold up with daily use. Thanks.

I have used this product on 7 countertops so far and daily normal use has not affected them at all. They all still look amazing!! I have not done a sink bowl yet but I believe it would be durable and work wonderfully for a long, long time!

Really like the marble look. I've been considering the resin, concrete, or the natural stone. Think you've got me convinced. So.....when can you come to my house in California??? 😎😎😎

I have the same issue of cracked sink in my countertop/sink as a person commented below. I am going to try a bondo spot filler to fill the crack then coat the entire vanity top and hope that works out.
