Nice work! That dark epoxy almost looks like a dark hardwood in certain lights. Pretty cool.

What epoxy do you use?

I’ve been measuring both the table top and deep pour portion volumetrically. Due to the difference in thickness or viscosity, is it actually possible to measure by weight? That would be so much easier but don’t want to mess up my 1:1 or especially 2:1 portions. Thanks!

can you please explain how using a straight edge against the straight fence accomplishes anything? How is this any different at all from just using the table saw fence?? It doesnt make any sense...

It didn't make sense to me either. But it's a godsend. Especially without a joiner. Essentially, the fence only works to cut straight lines if the wood on it is perfectly straight as well. Imagine you put a "C" shaped piece of wood on the fence to push it through the blade. When the top edge of the "C" looses contact with the table saw fence, it will turn the wood through the blade...making another curved cut.
