Love watching you make the little dog, I really enjoy hand sewing rather than sitting at a machine, I find it very therapeutic and get lost in my own little world! Thank you Kate, so enjoyable watching your videos. x

Loved all the parts. I have a bag of hexagons that I carry around in case I get stuck with nothing to do. No real plans for it except maybe to put some of them on the side of a bag or pillow top. also a great conversation starter. thank you for sharing maybe mine will turn into a dog.!!

Wow! Had so much fun creating my lil pooch, had to try a cat also. Then after reading comments about using flannel, i decided to try a cute pig, bear, and elephant. I also added some felt ears specific to each animal. Im trying a series of much smaller versions too. Maybe even keychain size. So much fun. Thanks for the inspiration!

With inspiration from you, my spouse and I cleaned up a closet of material. Found a blanket, yards of cloth and many patterns and a lot of notions. I'm making a quilt top from scraps but using the square pattern like in the dog. Will not waste material. Also thought about a quilt coat for myself. Won't see another coat like this one at the store. Lots of love, stay warm from Texas.

Thanks for the the close up. That's a lot of stitching needed on the corners and junctions. But definitely no holes! 🙌💚

Although I'm not making your patchwork dog, I'm thoroughly enjoying this series and all the handsewing! You've inspired me to pull out my mini topsy-turvy dolls that I cut out and started sewing 30+ years ago. I think I've only completed 3 out of 15. 😺

Have a lovely day, Kate. Hope you have some sun. It’s unusually windy, wet and cold here in San Diego, California. 🌧🌧

i did mention how to avoid that somewhere or other ... you are only catching the fabric on the fold - just a few threads in - and the papers are unmarked and can be used again (and again!) xxx

Inside out dog! Haven't finished my other project yet. Too tired after work... Should try to get a wiggle one and think about a cat pattern while I am at it! Ooh,it would be so soft in flannel. Have you done EPP with flannel?

never tried it in flannel- but I agree- it would be so soft and cuddly! xxx
