Yours is the first video to show removal of papers. Thank you. Others must just assume easy. Not so when the papers look to be fixed in and then stitched on. You are a star. Xx

Love this , Ive seen this before but didn’t realize it was paper pieced. What a great baby gift! I use a chopstick for poking out the corners and even pushing the stuffing in the corners, works great. You are a wonderful teacher 😀

I have made two of these while on vacation. I have a little, clear toiletry bag that everything fits into and packs in my suitcase. I can sit by the pool and just sew along. It has taken me two weeks both times to get the puppy sewn but doing this keeps my hands busy. My Grandson loves his puppy and now he has a new one at my house. Great way to use up scraps.

That was a great little series on paper piecing, I've really enjoyed it. Never mind if a tutorial already exists on KZbin, it's not what you do, it's HOW you do it. When I'm learning something new I seem to watch hours and hours of tutorials on the same thing. Possibly longer than the craft itself takes 😆

Lovely dog. Found these videos just in time for a Christmas baby on the way! However, the bib tutorial was a day late. Finished the last bib on a Sunday; watched you make a bib on Monday. I had put ties on each of nine bibs. But you, Kate, used snaps. Much better than the Velcro called for in my pattern. Great idea. Love your sewing and gardening videoes. Enjoy just listening to you chat about everything. Virginia in Ohio

There are times I wish my home was not as chaotic. If I can locate my sitting lion pattern, with his loopy yarn mane, I will send a copy for Rita & Norma. He's made of squares and originally from an old magazine. The torn page was in a secondhand book I bought 15 or so years ago. The photo showed a boy and girl, with one holding a dog and the other the lion. One day soon, lol, I hope. 💝

The doggy turned out beautifully! I've been inspired to make one for my new niece. The mom doesn't like the traditional baby colors (neither do I), so he's going to be prints in beige, brick, blue and brown. Luckily my sister is a compulsive fabriholic, so I hit her stash. I didn't get to send a picture, but I will when he's done. If you want to group our entries, I'd love a video on that! I like the idea of the journal tutorial. As someone else said, sure there are others on KZbin, but they "ain't got Kate"!

Dog is cute. Love indigo and white - I wonder why it seems to be an almost universally liked colour combination? Does the kapok not become lumpy after a while of use and washing? My aunt had a kapok tree in her garden and sadly I was a bit young to take advantage of it. (southern Africa)

Hmmmm LOVE that beautiful EPP Dog. Are you planning to put it in your shop? I wouldn't mind him for myself!! When you think you dyed the fabric, prepared all those pieces, put the pieces together, stuffed AND recorded the entire process, that's a big job, Kate. Just love him. Thanks for sharing. And personally I sure wouldn't mind knowing how you went about putting the New Zealand journal together. I'm certain there's more to it than slapping a few pages together and calling it a book. LOLOL I'd rather watch your videos, anyway. Well, my youngest (43) and her hubby are coming in to take me out for lunch, so I'd best hightail it and get ready. Have a great evening (I believe you have 4:30 p.m. ???? It's 10:30 a.m. here.) And keep your fingers crossed for some warmer weather. We'll be in the deep freeze for at least another week. Much too long for me!! (Whew!! I DO go on, don't I?)
