I love this projector. Unfortunately when I bought this, it did not include the mounting plate but did supply an empty box for it. This projector is almost perfect except for the brightness of the total black area if the keystone is adjusted. If the black was blacker then it would literally be perfect.

@Sigedno Kastaneer not about the screen, being portable, if keystone is adjusted at all the non image areas remain bright enough to be a distraction. On the other hand the image area is awesome.

How do you point it angled onto the ceiling?

Just bought it on Amazon, but when put in an angle to project onto the ceiling, it freezes. Then it even takes several minutes to turn it off. Next, when put on again flat on a table, it first projects lines, totally broken image... Should I return it? After a while, it functions again, but only flat on a table... I have Epson. EF 11 , I buy it because the pandemia beguns. But It feels like this Epson EF 12 is the same but with the only diference than Yamaha speaker is on top of the proyector. Så maybe I can wait some years, to buy another proyector.

I did come across a Pico projector a while back called the touch jet pond. That's the only thing that springs to mind. All though if you can find a portable power band that can handle the Epson...do that

So in your opinion of this device, it's better being a "long-throw" projector rather than a "short-throw"?? With the speakers being on the projector I would think if its ahead of you then you won't have the sound coming right next to you so much. Maybe would sound better in front of you ?!🤔

3 LCD that is used in EF12 cannot be 4k. 4k projectors are DLP and are other brands like Optima, BenQ.

The attached photo is of the projector projecting onto my white closet doors. I still have not messed with the settings but I can't wait for our first family movie night on a larger scale. If you have issues with volume not working with your firestick, go into volume settings and you will find your solution there.

I think this is the future of screen tech. However having the box in the middle of the room is a no go for daily use. I will pass until they figure out the technology more. In a couple years it will be projecting 150 inch at 4k mounted under the screen. And With better interface.

I just bought it.. it has multiple adjustments. Vertical and Horizontal Keystone AND an 8 point manual adjustment. Mine is at the side of the room. I would recommend the Vava Chroma if you're looking for an ultra short throw projector that is 4k, 3 lasers and sits about 15" from the wall.

150" protection size while close to the wall technology already exists. There are plenty of ultra short throw projectors capable of 150" that can be a mere 2 feet from the wall. They are the next tier in cost but are plentiful. The Epson LS300 ultra short throw is capable at $2,000 US dollars. They go up in cost from there.

Here's the thing.. with ANY projector you want to enjoy them in a low light room, because even in a bright room with a powerful projector you'll get washed out blacks no matter how bright the lamp. So with that in mind a 2700 lumen projector would be way too bright.

It'll look great but there will definitely be some input lag. I connected a Switch to it and there was a pretty big delay between button presses. Turning off some of the processing features did help out a bit though. Hope they add a gaming mode to it at some point.

Horrible projector! I only need a simple projector to show movie, this thing asks for setup every time turn it on! Also any near by bluetooth connection will interrupt the movie and pops up connection request! Picture is nice but no usable.
