we are having issues trying to scan photos. the problem thats happening is it will take one sode faster than the other so its turning the photo while scanning. is there a trick to scanning photos of different sizes. wasn't sure if its because its glossy paper.

With a carrier-sheet They're like plastic sheet protectors but a little bit harder and you can put really damaged documents and even weirdly shaped items inside of them. They usually arent cheap though. Failing that, I've always taped hardplastic giftcards and stuff to 8.5x11 paper and just fed the whole paper through. I guess if you wanted to avoid scratches from the scanner: can probably get a kid/school sheet protector for really cheap and cut the plastic from it and tape it to white paper and use that as a pocket sleeve
