Epson Workforce WF-3640: How to do Printhead Cleaning Cycles and Improve Print Quality

In this short video, Matt shows you an essential maintenance procedure for the Epson Workforce WF-3640. We take a look at how to do cleaning cycles, and move on to a "Print Quality Diagnostic" test page too.
This is essential knowledge for resolving almost any print quality issue with your printer, from missing colours to striped prints, we recommend doing these steps first. Cleaning in this way does use up black, cyan, magenta and yellow ink within your installed 27, 27XL & 27XXL ink cartridges, so be sure to use this function of your Epson Workforce WF-3640 sparingly.
Although we have used a Epson Workforce WF-3640 in this video, the process remains identical for the other printers in the series, like the Epson Workforce WF-3620.
