I’ve seen a lot of A.I. facial reconstructions on KZbin, but none quite as impressive as this. Most are little more than animated portraits that are, quite frankly, creepy, off-putting and emotionally disturbing, but the images created in this video are the most believable and lifelike ones that I’ve seen yet. Bravo.

This is by far the best AI recreation of historical people that I've ever seen. Maybe not 100% realistic, because painters and carvers wanted to show their clients as beautifull as possible and left rotten teeth and scars out, but I'm convinced Your depictions come very close to the original persons!

Despite the incredible technical and artistic feat of bringing these historical figures to "life," I have to say the original paintings still seem to capture a deeper, more emotional dimension of each individual. I have no doubt that AI will continue to get better, but for now, the the paintings capture more emotional depth. Again, not a criticism of the AI, more like an affirmation of the power and expressive talent of artists throughout history.

Equator, I want to differ on Nefertiti: The nail polish is anachronistic, and the ancient Egyptians used a black make-up on the eyes which is still used to this day. Supposedly, it has some kind of medicinal value to the eyes. Otherwise, all seem real; Bravo! I wish you could do Edward de Vere, that's the man who wrote the Shakespeare plays. There is one painting of him extant.

Very nice! For some reason the A.I. doesn't want to render red hair or the pale complexions of red haired people, even when it's clear from the portrait that the subject had those features. Other than that, this is a fascinating exercise. Some of them are better than others, but the way the clothing and fashions come to life really stand out. It would be interesting to see some of the old paintings brought to life of places long ago; castles, churches, harbors with old sailing ships, etc. that are either gone today, or just ruins.
