I don't think you answered how long it will take for the mole fraction of N2 to reach 0.7 on one side and 0.25 on the other side. Plus since they are equimolar shouldn't be 0.7 on one side and 0.3 on the other side.

Great points. We should have not asked how long it will take to reach that point, but rather just that we are determining other parameters at that point. As for the second part of your question, the flux is equimolar, not the amounts of CO2 and N2. So those mole fractions are possible.
