He’s trying an ACTUAL one. The Hitler one was highly exaggerated because it was meant to be insulting to Hitler himself. Well Hitlers public speeches sounds exagerated and cartoony even to Germans, its easy to make a parody of this recipe. In private, even Hitler did not talk like that. And German has so many dialects, you could make up any faux dialect and still legimatly claim its imitating German. Just watch "Das Boot" (in German) and you get through a very good collection of dialects.

I actually think Henry Ford vs Karl Marx was the best battle you guys have ever done. The raps hit incredibly hard, the historical references were incredible, production was off the charts. So many lines had double meanings, when you break down the entire battle it really encourages you to actually learn the history so you can appreciate the depth of the writing. And the whole thing sounds sick. Incredible!

Love the battle - and, as always, the Behind The Scenes! One small thing: Karl's birthplace Trier lies in the far west of Germany (directly on the border with Luxembourg) and only became part of Prussia in 1816 (2 years before Marx was born), more or less as a Prussian conquest after the Napoleonic Wars. His accent was therefore Rhinelandic/Moselle-Franconian, not Prussian (which was in the far east). However, it probably sounded quite similar to English ears, so it still fits ^^

Saying that ‘communism’ is bad because people tried it and that’s it, is just denying factors or reasons to have played in a part. Communism has never been tried, the building of a socialist coalition has, it never was able to flourish due to the horrible conditions of the world. The USSR was built on the October revolution in a backwater severely underdeveloped country. Tsarist russia was very poor and very uneducated on mass. After the revolution, the communist party had to on mass try its best to educate the majority of the population and start local and state funded farms. Which worked well for the most part aside from the famine, due to crop failure and miscommunication. Stalin didn’t help too much with his relief efforts being stifled with his efforts to contain the information. (This is very very gross simplification of the eastern USSR famine) The USSR had very little allies, a bloody revolution. A famine, and world war 2, which they took on 3/4ths of the Nazi army on the eastern front. Then sanctions from 30+ countries and the western world funding death squads and color revolutions aka the white army. Then the US making nuclear weapons forcing the USSR to arm itself, the USSR tried to deescalate the arms race. This costed them so many resources. But despite this, the USSR was able to nearly triple the literacy rate, raise the standard of living by 32 years. Stopped the homelessness until the dissolution of the USSR(which was illegal) 1991. Many scientific and technological advances, and art aswell

Little correction on the "He's technically Prussian so he must have sounded a bit Russian" thing: That is emphatically wrong. Karl Marx was born and raised in my hometown of Trier, which is about as far west as you can go in Germany, right next to the Luxembourgish border, so he grew up speaking Moselle Franconian, i.e. a full-on German dialect that has virtually nothing to do with Russian 😉
