This is awesome how you got this carrier to lay baby sideways. I want to try it with my son, but not sure. He is 3.5 months 13.5lbs and around 23inches. Do you think he is too big? My son is going through some phase where he wants to be held at all times and I have to hold him side ways like this for an hour to get him to sleep.

Thanks for your question. This video was made specifically to address the issue of a baby in a boots and bar needing to be carried, as it wasn't possible in the conventional tummy-to-tummy position. Tummy to tummy tends to be the easiest to achieve safely. If you do decide to use the method shown here, the key things are that baby is supported in as much of a seated-sideways position as is possible, so their head is supported but not pushed down on to their chest. You may find it best as a 'carrying aid' - where your arm supports their head - rather than a completely hands-free option. If you'd like any help feel free to book a one to one video call consultation - happy to run through it with you :-) Roamy
