Got myself one a couple weeks ago and couldn't be happier with it. At 55yo yes your body does feel a lot more, before getting this seat I was feeling the pains and discomforts setting in at between 5-6 miles. Now I can ride my limit, which is about 10 miles per day and feel nothing. If your watching this video and wondering if this saddle really works stop wondering and go buy one, you won't regret it!!!

Forget about butt pain, what about taint pain and the family jewels? Does that channel in the seat sufficiently relieve pressure there?

I can’t speak to the Phenom but this replaced the Specialized Bridge saddle I had. Definitely the best saddle I’ve ever had for comfort.

I was just look at this core because it was flat and the other one has that pointless raised bit on back i aways seem to ride the harder stitch seam on any of them! i don't know why it just makes you feel your wanting to sit further back on that type, i don't think there comfortable but seeing this in flat and had the core movement sounded really something totally different and barable and just looked up first review on it here and honestly now feels like a gimmick if your saying didn't really feel the difference from the Bridge, really nothing in way of comfort? Im on a WTB Comfort just now and the "comfort" couldn't be more uncomfortable if they tried! The gel in it is absolutely solid you can hardly press it with your fingers aswell! Ive tried the mimic i am.a 5.9 male 230lbs didn't work very painful underneath pressure! Never try it its not worth the pain! Men who say ot works for unisex now must be selling stunt! The 3D printed one i can do with an extra couple of printed layers on there not enough structure for the heavier rider's! So my next stop is ergon and see what doesn't work in this line haha!

Initially it didn’t feel different as in I wasn’t like “wow this feels so much different”. However, there is significantly less pain from long rides. I don’t think there is a such thing as a perfect saddle. For the cost of the Ergon it significantly improves comfort over typical factory saddles.

I'm right between S/M and M/L saddle according to Ergon webpage. Should I go S/M or M/L?

I would suggest erring on the side of the M/L. The difference is like 6mm and I believe there is some overlap.

how is it in sub zero temps? I've been told Ergon does well in it. How is the wear? Does it stay comfy now?

@@mtbboy1993 I’ve had it out in 20° F weather and it didn’t seem affected by the cold much to be honest. I didn’t actually give that a thought come to think of it. This saddle has held up well and looks and feels just the way it did when I first got it. I ride 1-3 times a week or around 2-3 hours on flow/tech trails.

@@dayinnymtb OK, sounds promising. My Fabric Scoop Shallow race feels harsh in the winter, it always did, but now it worn down so feels harsher during warm weather too. Time to retire it, Im considering this saddle. Ergon and Specialized were saddle that came up reccomend by ppl who had it. For winter ruse too.

I think ergon saddles are overated. Try picking the back of your bike up by the back of the saddle and see if it clicks. I have another saddle that's a quarter of the price and its loads better and more comfortable. I'll be selling mine, lol

No clicking - hasn’t done me wrong and made my decision based off reviews which seemed independent, though one can never be sure which is why I added my own personal experiences.

I still wear them, went a few rides without and still much more comfortable than the factory saddle
