I saw him at the Cerritos Center about 4 years ago. It was a great concert, but they had a Time Limit . I was shouting “ Play Sky Pilot!!”, but they didn’t have time for an encore. I was pissed…..an all time great song.

One of the only bands that was always announced as "Lead Singer and the band," as in "Eric Burdon and the Animals." John Kay and Steppenwolf was the only other one that that was the norm for. It was never "Robert Plant and Led Zeppelin" or "John Lennon and the Beatles," or etc.
