Also, please read Crisis of Conscience by Ray Franz. That gave unmistakable proof the the Governing Body is only charading as a group of righteous men. If they are brothers, they have much to learn about how to treat their fellow worshipers. They have caused much harm to good-hearted people.

I woke up four years ago. But, looking back, one of my JW relatives had told me exactly what you've just now said. That was over 20 years ago. She said, "They keep you so busy reading Watchtowers that you don't have time to read anything else." And now I realize that she had probably woken up. She moved to a different State soon after that, ...probably so she could "fade".

The situation is that the Governing body believe that the great crowd is being gathered. Yes, they may have doctrines that you disagree with but in their eyes they see their own roles as having a purpose today. What is your role today now that you no longer accept the teachings of the governing body ? This story of Jesus being Gods king of a kingdom has been going on for thousands of years.

This has been the problem with Christianity from its outset. Jesus said he would be with you until the end according to revelation. The expression of the stars being in his hand etc. 2000 years have gone past and there are 1000’s upon 1000’s of different denominations teaching different things from each other and claiming the others are false. Where is Jesus in all this if he is suppose to be with you until the end. There can only be 1 truth. Personally Something is wrong. Perhaps Jesus was a human after all just like the Buddha and Mohammed etc etc.

Charles Russel said the Bible is like a piano. Many fine tunes can be played from it. This he mentioned in the book ‘divine plan of the ages’ I agree 100 percent.

Hebrews 10:24,25 tells us it was to “encourage one another” in solidarity as ‘Witnesses” of Jesus (Acts 1:8) We witness to Jesus by our daily conduct as “Christians” (Acts 11:26) Christians would be seen as a source of ‘light’ in the darkness of Satan’s world (Matthew 5:14-16) As a result of a Christian’s ‘fine works’ - love, kindness, patience, humility etc, onlookers would “give glory to your father who is in the heavens”.
