Great guy and great interview. I was a touring musician for 20+ years and met some amazing people along the way. Found myself in a bunch of "pinch me" situations. It's wonderful when folks you admire turn out to be cool humans on top of it. When you reach a certain level, the talent field is pretty even and one of the main things that will bring opportunities is being a "good hang". This guy and pretty much all the people interviewed here are living proof of that. Including you Otis. Peace.

What a great guy man. It’s no coincidence I don’t believe that he not only met all these musicians, but hung with and played as well. Zero ego and love and appreciation for his fortunes. Another interesting cat; another deep dive. You’re keeping me busy Otis.

That tweed Twin was Eric’s favourite recording amp. Cesar Diaz did a lot of work on it because it kept blowing up. ‘When it sounds good, that’s when you’ve really gotta watch out!’ EC

If you haven't heard that Christine McVie album - just titled Christine McVie, from 1984, definitely check it out. I had no interest in the album at the time, but my then girlfriend bought it. Great album! The tune with Steve Winwood rocks harder than anything Christine did with Fleetwood Mac. The rest of the album is really well done rock/pop that you would expect from Christine. I saw her live when she was touring that album - great band Todd! I still listen to it regularly, and have turned many people onto it.

The first time I heard about Todd was in the 1970s. It was an article in Guitar Player about John Carruthers and his guitar repairs. There was a picture of Todd’s Strat with a pretty interesting custom pickguard.
