Many disagree, but this is my favorite Clapton era. When he switched to the Strat full time his vibrato came out at it's peak, and he played with so much more groove. Cream is great, but to me he hit his peak in the 70s.

Cuando fui adicto a la cocaína esta canción era un himno para mí . Todo empezó como un gusto en fiestas reuniones , juergas con los cuates. después se convirtió en un Abito y ya la usaba para realizar otro tipo de actividades. Con el tiempo se convirtió en vicio , mi cuerpo se empezó a acostumbrar a la sustancia . Cuando me di cuenta ya era un adicto a la cocaína ya mi estar bien durante casi todo el día empezó a depender de un gramo casi diario . De pronto lo que empezó como un gusto terminó convirtiéndose en un infierno por qué ya en esta etapa la adicción se convirtió en enfermedad , luego entonces el carácter, la personalidad y el estado emocional eran irritables todo el día de malas, discutiendo con todo mundo , la maldita droga me hizo aislarme de mi entorno familiar y social y las últimas veces ya me paniqueaba de sobre manera .Hoy doy Gracias al Señor Jesús y a su Bendita Madre María Santísima por qué solo tomándome de sus manos y llenar mi ♥️ de Fe , Esperanza y Caridad en Dios Padre pude salir hoy tengo 14 años de haber salido de las Drogas. Hoy soy una persona limpia , en físico, en lo moral ahí voy y en lo Espiritual Perseverando 🙏 Amén 🙏

Steve Mirfin You were correct bro, it wasn't Steve Winwood after all. It was Tim Renwick on second guitar. They looked helluva lot alike then. Clapton has got to be the best guitarist of all time. Hendrix died too soon. BB stayed too boxed in. EVH wasn’t able to evolve more than 2 decades. Poor SRV dies in a helicopter accident. Clapton survived it all and stayed relevant, but not only that. His style changed. 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s....-and the man still relevant and killing in the 2020s.....please tell me who else is doing this.....

At about the 0:50 mark you see at first Clapton is facing forward but then he’s gonna turn and look back at his band and it’s a signal… Very similar to NFL football at the line of scrimmage the QB uses a cadence and then the snap count and then the ball is snapped… Clapton is the QB so when he turns to look back at his guys the first time, he’s saying ok get ready but then he looks back again and he’s telling them he’s about to begin the song
