Scientist now (Aug 2022) claim the earth is spinning too fast, but I'm not sure what they likely attribute that too...I think it is spinning at just the right rate, and will continue to do so, of course things do change just that most people's little glimpse of the overall bigger picture is quite limited. If the planets spin rotation is too fast so what?

I've never heard of this event before, but for ~20 years, I've thought what an OUTRAGEOUS trio show would be made, of *Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, and Peter Frampton* (Frampton is SO much more than his anthemic pop hits -- YOW.) But right now, I'm going to play the rest of this one, and enjoy Elton (who is *also* so much more than his hits --Sheeesh!)

QUEEEE super cool !!!! ... they transferred me when I was 7 years old ... then I only admired them for being on the covers and famous ... now I see how great they are, perfection ... not a single mistake, zero ... all in a harmony of signs, meanings, sides of all the feelings of the ethereal soul of the human being that just as he manufactures nuclear bombs to kill more many in less time... also with those hands, mind and spirit he can create this beauty of astral travel, elevator of the being , with its incredible and unbearable lightness, above all... of all hatred, envy, embezzlement of loves twisted by jealousy... and in the end only this remains... the transcorporeal spirit of art by one of its large windows : music.

You get lot's of people thinking Knopfler goes straight for the pre CBS fiesta red Strat, they cannot get past the Sultans of Swing performances. He's also know for the Resonator which has made numerous appearances in his music but live you hardly ever see him with a Fender in his hands. The Wembley concerts way before the Pensa's came into use, his Guitar of preference was a Schecter Strat for the simple reason they were far better than the American Standards of the time. Some folks might not be able to deal with that but it's the truth. In an interview with John Peel he said that he used the Schecter because quality and appointment wise it was head and shoulders above it's contemporaries.
@kenmurphy67922 жыл бұрын
Schecter Guitars 1976-1983 David Schecter founded the company in 1976 in Van Nuys, California. It all started when Schecter opened a guitar repair shop, Schecter Guitar Research. The shop started producing replacement parts for existing guitar models. This included necks, bodies, pickups, bridges, tuning pegs, knobs, etc. Although they were producing over 400 guitar parts, Schecter did not have a complete product of their own. That changed in 1979 when they introduced their first electric guitar. Schecter is established as a high-end, expensive, and rare guitar brand. Among the few names who have played Schecter guitars are Pete Townshend, Mark Knopfler, Ritchie Blackmore, Chris Poland, Synyster Gates, Richard Patrick, Jinxx, Jake Pitts Tommy Victor, Dan Donegan, Robin Zander, and Shaun Morgan. In the following years, Schecter reached their production limit and could no longer meet customer demand. 1983-1987 A group of Texas investors saw this as an opportunity, buying the company in 1983. After that, they moved the company from California to Dallas, Texas. Mass production started here. One year later, Schecter introduced twelve new guitar and bass models at the winter NAMM show. The most popular model among them is called the Saturn. The Saturn is also known as the T-style. This model was actually used by Pete Townshend. During this period, Schecter managed to sign one notable endorsee, Swedish guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen. Production was shut down in 1987 due to a lawsuit by Fender since they were using the S and T headstocks, which are trademarked by Fender. Fender had previously allowed the use when Schecter was just a guitar parts company. 1987-present A turning point happened when Hisatake Shibuya, the founder, and owner of ESP guitars bought the company. He relocated Schecter’s headquarters back to California. Here the company devoted itself to producing high-end customer guitars. They were only available from a few retailers. To make guitars more accessible to everyone’s budget, they opened a new plant in South Korea. Also known as the Diamant series, these guitars managed to maintain high quality for an affordable price. Guitars worth mentioning from this period are the 7-string A-7 Avenger and C-1. Electric Sound Products (ESP) Hisatake Shibuya founded ESP in 1975 as a shop in Tokyo, Japan that provided custom replacement guitar parts just like Schecter. At around the same time, ESP started producing guitars mainly for the Japanese market. studentofguitar.com/schecter-vs-esp/

When EC adds a 2nd lead to his touring band, it's always a gifted player like Low. Doyle Bramhall II has been his go to for the last dozen years or so, although Steve Winwood has been on a couple, but in the 90's he had Albert Lee on board (one of EC's favorite 7 guitarists) and they were dynamite together. Lee is a very humble but incredible guitar player, one of our favorites as well. Eric's favorite player is also ours-Duane Allman. His other five favorites are Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Jimi Hendrix, Prince and John Mayer. Hard to argue with those but if pressed we'd take Derek Trucks over Mayer and probably any of the Kings or Buddy Guy over Muddy.
