No matter how great of a version he plays there is just nothing that can ever match that original version with Cream. It's by far my favorite Cream song and I absolutely ADORE Cream and Clapton. That solo is just absolutely perfect in that song and I don't think he'll ever improvise another one better than that one.

Check out the Crossroads 2019 version. Only unfortunate part is where the audience applauds during the interlude before the signature guitar riff... on BOTH occasions. Always pisses me off audiences do this.

Happy 50th anniv. to this album. I'd love to see these one more time in a concert --- Clapton, Townshend, Winwood, R. Wood --- these guys are still with us. They only need a drummer. They can call Jason Bonham.
