Totally agree with Lex here... this is my favorite love song, because... well, it sounds great, but the lyrics are so pure, zero cheese, and "grown up". This sounds like a grown-up person who really loves his partner. And the story-- getting dressed, enjoying a party, her getting him safely into bed... it's adult, relatable and beautiful.

It represents what happens after the lights are turned off; it represents 'the lady's' point of view, and it represents that she, too, is feeling 'wonderful tonight'; even climatic.
