The two were united by years of marriage, friendship and children. They divorced in their late years and both tried to live with someone else. And whenever everything around them collapsed, they came back to safety, and that was their love and family together. I think they really loved each other. Only Erick thought a younger model would help him live a happier life, helping him with his ego, and Stefanie simply protected her family, unfortunately sometimes at the expense of their happiness. But they always forgave themselves in the end and always came back to each other, and they always confirmed one thing to the other that they were in love.

That marriage was worse than a joke. All Donna wanted to do was smear Eric with honey and have sex. She brought nothing else to the table. At let us not forget that she only started up with Eric to get revenge on Stephanie, just as her sister Brooke had done back in the day. Using sex to get back on someone is just whorish. At when Eric was near death and in a coma Donna was busy sticking her tongue down Owen's throat and it was left to Stephanie to care for him and encourage him to wake up. So much for the devoted wife.
