Eric paid that money back. And it was Stephanie's father that loaned Eric the money. Let's not forget Eric's true love was Beth Logan Brooke's mother. That's what started the fued with Brooke and Stephanie. Stephanie had and affair with Massimo when she was with Eric got pregnant and said it was Eric. That's why he left Beth Logan.

@@jasondonaldson1359 , it doesn't matter that he paid it back. The agreement was that he would give Eric the money if Stephanie owned the company. He didn't trust Eric and seeing how he hides the trust, from Stephanie, he was right. He knew that Eric was just using Stephanie so he wanted to protect his daughter. If Eric had any brains, he would have told Stephanie about it a long time ago and she would have signed it over to him or at least go half and half. The Massimo story was a rewrite. There are a couple of story lines that show where if Ridge wasn't Eric's son it would have came out. Bradley Bell wants everyone to be related! Look at the current cast. The only people that aren't related to the e major families, are Sally(she actually had 2 cousins married to Thorne) and Zoe(and she was almost a Forrester. Everyone else is related to one way or another.

And Stephanie wasn't with Massimo during her relationship with Eric, but shortly before it. So she didn't know at first that she was pregnant of him. Likewise, she only found out years later. Yes, Eric loved Beth, but please: the love of his life may be a little exaggerated. Today nobody knows whether this love would have lasted.

@@feuerwehrluetzen , the Massimo story was a rewrite. When Thorne found out about Caroline and Ridge he shot Ridge and Eric had to give him blood. Bridget's paternity is another one. For both stories, Eric not being Ridge's father would have come out. Sorry, but Bradley Bell has kind of a twisted mind because after that people that knew each other their whole lives started getting together! Bad writing because he just needed to bring new character that weren't related!!!!
