Actually it was the Villan who thought it was was a good idea to bring the dinosaurs to our habit. Look rewatch the lost world and John Hammond said that he wanted to transport the dinosaurs to an island with no cages, he wanted them to be free and they mention the same island in fallen kingdom. Edit: Also when I saw Jurassic World I thought that the Indominus Rex looked like Rudy from Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs

In JWFK Mils mentioned Site B in the begining. And Claire did not want to bring the dinos to the mainland, but to a sanctuary island without people. In the lost world peter ludlow said isla sorna is vulcanic, so that why claire and lockwood wanted to bring them to the sanctuary instead of Isla sorma

Personaly, I think any decision that girl would made sense. I'm reffering the moment when she released the dinosaurs. If she had decided to not released it would make sense because she was faced the terror of being hunted by a dinosaur. But I think the reason why she decided to release them wasn't just because she was made like the dinos, but also the dins was her grandpa's or dad's (I don't know what grade of kinship should have) work.

Her reason for letting them go was because she said "They're alive like me". Which is just dumb logic. If a bunch of serial killers were locked up in a similar situation, I wouldn't let them out of their cells simply because they're alive. The same way I wouldn't release a pack of lions and tigers out of their cages. Her reasoning was just illogical and wrong. And it made me HATE her character.

Personaly, I think it would make the scene a little better if she said something that could relate to the fact that she is a clone like the dinos. That was the explanation that thought in my mind the first. But "They're alive like me" is just a bad and it could be replaced with something I sugested before.

The reason they did not take the dinosaurs to Sorna was because between movies, Sorna's ecosystem fell apart. Both from diseases on the island, and the illegal dinosaurs, as established in Jurassic Park 3. They took whatever dinosaurs that were still alive on Sorna and moved them to Nublar. Plus Sorna also had a volcano on it so if they moved the dinos there, then eventually that volcano would become active and they would have to do this all over again.

Overall its good, but it is a bit too "Star Warsy" for my liking, if you know what I mean. Good examples are the Indoraptor Theme, the title screen music, and the music when Owen, Claire and Franklin wash up on the shore after almost drowning in the gyrosphere. Not that I don't like SW, but music wise its far different than JP/JW.

Yeah i give it a big score beside the original jp and jp 2 and jurassic world was ok but I mostly skip when there in the park or the dinos besides I found something boaring in the film until the climax when the pteronodon escape it got way better from there.

I think the reason they didnt take the dinosaur to isla sorna is because 1. They are trying to get as far away for jp3 as possible 2. Sorna also runs on geothermal energy and has active geological activity, and the volcanic eruption on nublar could trigger volcanic activity on sorna, basically, moving the dinos to sorna is just delaying the inevitable, they would still die, just at a later time

I just love both of these moviese i cant make my mind up Jw: it reeopend a franchise after a long sleep and the opening scene where we return to Isla Nublar on the train where it saise ,, welcome to Jurassic World made me cry in theaters along with buildings from the original. Fallen kingdom: i dont know why but the title itself was just toooo GOOD for me, you know that our beloved isla Nublar is gona be destryed and uninhabitable for a long time and that is one of the last places were dinosaurs still live, the death of the Brachiasaurus the original and the first dinosaur was soooooo painful, soo much nostalgia. I love your opinions on both of the Jurassic World films, I did notice the flaws of both movies, but I highly acknowledged Fallen Kingdom for returning the horror elements from the 1st Jurassic Park, and I enjoyed the film much more than Jurassic World, it did have good characters and made a villain so hated that I wanted him to die. The reason why they didn't take the dinosaurs to Isla Sorna is because they had to take them to the Lockwood Estate (which is on mainland) so Eli Mill's could get his money by selling the dinosaurs. He couldn't do that on the other Island (Isla Sorna).

Solid video all around! As a fan of both of these films, it was good to see a balanced assessment of Fallen Kingdom's flaws that didn't descend into maddening vitriol. Some disagreements, but nothing drastic. I felt like watching Jurassic World again after finishing the video. :) Also, this is the first time I've seen someone suggest that the most recent and upcoming sequels should have been filmed and released back to back to keep the momentum going. It'll be interesting to see how it pans out in 2021.

5:06 it’s explained that Site B is on the same volcanic chain as the park, so it will not be long before Site B explodes as well. Plus with the combo of disease from the compies being transferred to the others and the Spinosaurus over hunting they would not last long on that island.

The villains are very well done in Fallen Kingdom. I mean, greedy people are plain and simple minded, that's why they're so dangerous, because you can't make them empathise with other living creatures and they're unable to care for anything but money. The animal traffickers or hunters are all like that. When you talk with them, you're surprised to see how void they are.

That'a very good point. My REAL issue however is that the villains are SO predictable. When you start to predict their every move before they even do anything that makes the movie much less interesting. Meh, I literally remember nothing about the first Jurassic World except for the awesome looking park and the T-Rex fight. Same with the sequel except I remember even less. As for the characters, while Chris Pratt is likeable, he goes through nothing, no arc, nothing. Remember Alan Grant’s arc where at the start he hates kids but at the end he does, as you said this is character development. Although you did take a hit on Starlord give it to him, he has a personality and went through an arc in GOTG.

Did you not like the fightscene in godzilla? What? thats an incredible scene. It makes sure to show what is going on with the man character while still keeping the fight intact. The score is incredible. The sounddesign is INCREDIBLE. And the cinematorgraphy is very clever. Filmed only from where a person can stand most of the time. Isla Sorna was mentioned in FK by Mills. Oh and Claire's group weren't intending to bring them to the mainland but to a another island. Sorna's dinosaurs apparently went extinct according to the Dinosaur Protection Group website and the film says the volcano would kill the last living dinosaurs on the planet via the news.

That's the thing though, Jurassic Park is a franchise that works better when it's simple, linear storytelling, when you try to make it more complex & convoluted, it just ends up deteriorating the appeal of the series as well as creating inconsistencies within continuity and established rules and themes. Fallen Kingdom completely betrays the entire thesis that the series is built upon (Cloning Dinosaurs = Bad Idea, & Dinosaurs cannot and should not co-exist with humans unless they are completely isolated from the rest of world society)

Good video but just wanted to say In the lost world peter Ludlow says the operations building that they need to get to runs off of geofermal power which means that it uses stuff from volcanoes. And in the shooting script ( that unfortunately didn’t happen ) Ludlow and Roland hunt the male trex and encounter molten rock. So why would they take dinos from a island that is about to explode to a island that can do the same thing?
