I think “come on” is the official motto of climbing. In any video ever theres always someone in the background saying “come on”

This level of strength and precision is so nice to watch. It's really interesting to get this feeling of calmness in a video about someone doing really hard moves.

Wow, so awesome that Nina was so open about her mental game!! It was a learning experience hearing about how she thinks about projects, being in the moment, expectations...huge fan! Thank you for this!

Nina climbing out of the darkness of that last attempt looks pretty awesome.

Excellent video and great insight into a pro's mentality! All of her habits like practising the crux after a failed attempt so as not to condition a bad move, and how she prepares to start each time. Thanks for that!

Great video Erik! I literally never comment on KZbin videos but I just wanted to say that your channel has never been so good! I’ve been watching your videos for over a year now and between you and Emil, the video quality these days is second to none. Love the outdoor videos! Keep it coming and thanks for being the best channel on KZbin! Also can’t wait for your clothing company to be available in the US (if that pans out). Stay strong and keep crushing!

The nails sounds on the rock haha love that detail, you can almost feel the tension. When you need every micrometer of that bad and painful crimp. Heck yeah. Also there's always a comment saying how the person featured in the video is perfect and how can that be and I'm totally gonna be that person. Nina is perfect. So strong. Loved seeing how she fights negativity.

How do you keep the muscles warm when resting so long?
@jeffersin70926 жыл бұрын
She puts on a sweater and a coat.
@imagzz49426 жыл бұрын
Not only the muscles, but joints as well. Once you go 20-30 minutes without activity, you would technically need to warm up all over again. At least that's what I've been told. I'm not sure if putting on a sweater and coat helps. My worry is that this will lead to injury, but I guess she knows her body better than us.

Does hair touching the ground count as dap? ;) nice video like your outdoor videos a lot.
@ThomasKwa6 жыл бұрын
I would say it's fine because hair touching the ground is like having shorter hair in the first place. Climbers could theoretically cut their hair to become 50g lighter but that's such a small advantage.

Really beautiful Video, I really like the Outdoor Episodes. Btw, what Grade should you be able to climb before thinking about Outdoor Bouldering? Is it even worth it if I cant crush 7a in the Gym or is a solid 6b/6b+ enough?
@horkonto6 жыл бұрын
I mean you can climb outside at any grade really, but personally I found it getting really interesting at around 6c indoors
@doppelcorn16 жыл бұрын
I guess it also really depends on what kind of bouldering area you have available. I personally have only been to Fontainbleau where you can find cool boulders in literally any grade, but what I have heard of other areas like Magic Woods you should be pretty strong to find any worthy climb.
@SovereignsGreed6 жыл бұрын
I'm from Southern Germany (Munich to be more Precise), so every spot I know of is a bit away and/or not that big with not that much variation in grade (from what I've heard). But generally 6c should be possible before really bothering that much about it is what i take from you guys^^ Thanks for the answers.
@antoine94986 жыл бұрын
You can climb outside whether you climb 5a or 8a... your level really does not matter. You just need to find an area with something that motivates you. And you can find great 6a's all over the world.
@danielfry80976 жыл бұрын
Yeah there is no set bar for outside climbing. If you have nice boulders nearby that are in your grade range then go do them. I mean why not...? Climbing indoors is training for climbing outdoors.
