I used Dasa ported Racing heads for all my yz250F. Dude is a scientist!!! His engineering is unreal! I’m almost positive he was the first person to do 5 axis CNC porting in the motocross industry

Do you have DASA power valves in stock??Japan

A powervalve 2 stroke jet ski engine is the same as 2-stroke dirt bikes have had for a while for motocross style 85s, 125s, & 250cc's. Like a 2020 Yamaha YZ250X. Powervalve 250cc single cylinder 2-stroke reed engine, water cooling, and more stock.

Yeah gas operated power valves aren't new. But when setup properly they can be a game changer!

Great videos man!! I love them. Learmed a lottt of little tricks for my next rebuild/top end. Thanks for sharing!! If I want to have you build/assemble a motor for me or a customer, do you have a website? Jeff rebuilds the cranks. Who does the machine work? Thanks!

Hi Mark. As always love your videos. I just bought a dasa 1000 as well, with all kind of problems. One thing I don't know how to fix is that two of the pins in the crankcase that stops the bearings from spinning in the case is pushed all the way down in the case. Do you know a way to get them out. Thanks. Tommy andersen

Would you recommend removing the base gasket on a 61x 701 sj? I'm rebuilding the motor right now and curious what you think.

What brand front and rear crank seals do you recommend? And where can i get oem for a fair price? Also what's the best website to order oem yamaha parts with best prices and availability?

One little tip for when installing your o-rings is just get it on your fingers and pull the ring threw it. I work on monster cat equipment, and with the hundreds of o rings I put in that way seems to work well for me, and we use a stuff we call cat snot(basically the same shit, just cat recommended), but that shit is expensive so we try not to waste to much, plus it saves some time

Yes but some heads the groove is oversized some you need more then just a light coat on the oring. I also rebuild, repair and remachine hydraulics for heavy equipment

Thinking about building a dasa for a freestyle so. Trying to shoot for around 1000cc, what are your thoughts on achieving 1000cc via more bore than stroke, more stroke than bore, or a happy medium? ... also without utilizing a billet case.
@EricksonMachinePerformance4 жыл бұрын
That comes down to Budget. A 10 or 12 mm stroker with make more power then a stock stroke BUT cost way more $$$ most 1000cc motors have oem cases. Billet cases are mainly used on +1100cc engines that require 16mm or larger stroker cranks that can't fit in oem cases
