I have one of the older plugs without the strainer that I just so happened to try out today. I got a zip ty stuck in it and it was kind of bad. I was thinking this works sweet but it needs a strainer or something because my old skis always have crap in them. This video really explains everything well and answers all my questions. Chris seems like a super nice helpful guy and I really appreciate that. If your ski has drain plugs or a scupper why wouldn't you get these?

I’m running 2 tray drain versiplugs, love them. About to change my scupper to this setup! I’m running the blowsion scupper that inside the actual hull ( 6 inches inside or so) Will be interesting to figure how I should go about that. Great product.
