And they should do Ability cost tiers based on OVR; so, for instance, a WR 85 OVR and below would have access to Route Tech at a 3 AP cost, but if the card gets an upgrade and is now 90+, the AP cost for the same ability is 2 AP, then 1 AP at 99 OVR. Or it could be the inverse, to give lower end players more relevancy versus higher rated counterparts that have already reached the rating thresholds and, in theory, play better. So in the latter instance, we would have to decide whether it's worth more to have a bunch of high 80's players with lower cost abilities or a few faster players with more expensive abilities as a trade-off, or strategically mismatch those players under whatever the AP cap is at the time.

I feel like X factor shouldn’t even be on the game. The way players perform should be based off attributes and weight/height. Of course user skill matter but these game creators act like the simple fact is we are playing football. The plays offense call should be effective depending on if the defense call the right or perfect play to stop it. Once the ball is in motion then that’s when the user kick in.

What about the insane over throws? QBs would over throw WRs by a mile and it would be a INT. - or catches along the sidelines? Will the WRs be able to catch a pass close the sideline and turn up field? I feel like that’s something missing from the game, WRs don’t catch along the sideline and turn up the field, they 99% of the time tiptoe out of bounds.

@@yungsaisaucin I don't think that's what he means. what he means is when a wr is literally standing next to being out of bounds but there open. but when you pass a perfect pass to them they literally would go into an animation where they will either go out of bounds and it will be incomplete or they will just fall or tiptoe out of bounds.

@@yungsaisaucin doesn’t have to be a crossing route. There are too many routes or catches made in madden where the WRs will catch the ball and just fall out of bounds, tiptoe out of bounds or run the route short of the first down marker.

These mid air tackles seem to op, i know you’re likely to drop a ball if you get hit in mid air, but i wanna know, does a player with 99 cit still lose the ball? i think that’s what it should depend on, if i i have a 85 cit and lose the ball sometimes it’s fine but if i have a 99 cit and i’m always losing the ball then this is definitely op

the main problem especially on offense is because of abilities they make it almost impossible to do things that should be pretty standard, like good luck putting a ball in a tight window unless you have gunslinger or something, long range dead eye is useless and you can’t even complete a deep ball throw without it because you’ll under throw it.

How about actual clock management? Going about of bounds don’t always stop the clock, or if you make a catch and fall down, your instantly considered down without being touched. Those are also things in the game that need to be fixed.

Clock is only supposed to stop under 5 mins IRL, with most madden games being 5 or 6 min quarters it usually won’t stop unless it’s under 3 mins

Neither of these things are an issue in Madden. Clock stops when it's supposed to and keeps running when it's supposed to. If you go down and aren't touched, you can get back up.

Also, here are some new ability ideas that I thought of: > Heat Seeking Missile (burst of acceleration towards ball carrier) > Single High Lurker (burst of acceleration for the single high safety when ball is in flight to deep area of field) (potential Scheme discount AP, which could become its own thing) > Chip Block (assigned to RB or TE's) > Space Eater (ability for DT's that triggers a mandatory double team block, guaranteeing a one-on-one matchup and plus 1 pass rush point for the nearest edge rusher) > Backside Tackler (secure tackler + stonewall when shedding with DE and chasing plays from behind, pursuing the ballcarrier laterally vs. stretches and tosses) > Jam (jam WR's on the line, throws off route, counters release) (this would be hell, though) > Double Team or Bracket Specialist (DB gets coverage boost on double team assignments) > Double Team Beater (D line) > Conductor on Defense, with discount AP on rest of D (only Field General LB's). Maybe make it so the LB archetype you choose dictates AP cost for certain abilities according to the LB's specialized scheme, would greatly enhance the importance of LB's, and would ensure needing to have at least one on the field... who gets Lurker for free.

Need to add a mechanic that allows u to reach for yards but also increases fumble chance especially if hit. Like goalie or first down stick ball out like in NFL that be so dope. Also I wish they add a way for cbs to pick up wr if no one is in zone. 22 my CB guard nothing but area designed even if clearly a wr was near them with no one else near. 99 awr but blind in Madden 22 lmfao. Also get rid of escape artist or if they keep it make it only able get just that and actually make other QB ablities more lucrative. And for love of God make elite lineman noticable I personally cannot tell difference between a min stat lineman like 90 over versus 99 when clearly elite players should play above normies

I love to play madden when it first came out years ago on Sega Genesis? I know nothing about football, and all the plays. To me it's one of the most complex sports there is compared to baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, etc. However, that said, this is one of my all time favourite sports along with hockey.
