I empathized with Sheldon a lot in this episode. Ever since I was a kid, I was always terrified of birds and still is, I'm not going to lie. Not small birds like a blue jay or robin, but big birds like Ostriches, Geese, Pelicans, Peacocks, and even a flock of Seagulls. Idk what it is, they just creep the hell out of me lmao. Also, this was actually my favorite episode from Leonard, because he finally had some backbone against Penny. There was only a few times where he did that and if only he did that in every episode, he would have my full respect as a character 💯
@kateorgera59072 жыл бұрын
I mean, listen, large birds can do some damage. Geese and swans can be aggressive when aroused, and seagulls are absolute vultures, just with snack goods instead of remains. Me personally, I'm creeped out by city pigeons. As the descendants of dinosaurs, a healthy caution around birds is actually fairly reasonable, though as always Sheldon takes things to extremes and does not deal with his fears very well.
@dboslice2 жыл бұрын
@@kateorgera5907 I actually don't have a problem with city pigeons because to me, they mind their own business, at least. I'm sure all birds do, but you just have those fearless ones like Crows, Hawks, Falcons, and it's just savage lol. I just get uncomfortable knowing they can fly over my head and when they crap, that's just disrespectful to the max. Sheldon definitely had a right to be afraid and when he said that: "Every year, tens of people around the world are killed by birds," I don't know how true that is, but I know its possible and that terrifies me even more.

@@worldpeace6322 I think confidence is a good thing and people of all gender and sexual orientation are drawn to. However being cocky and arrogant is not a good trait. Toxic Femininity wich is what Penny exuding this entire episode.

I've been saying that for the longest. It's like she's Poison Ivy and Leonard is sprung. A lot of people probably don't notice this but the reason why Penny never got evicted is because Leonard been paying her rent. I noticed that in the Penny Blossom episode. She goes online buying shoes and wonder why she been going broke and "borrowing" from Leonard and Sheldon. User at it's finest.

What makes you say that? The fact that Penny sponges off of Leonard throughout a date with little to no real care about his opinion about things that they do together or the fact that Leonard let's Penny walk all over him just so he can have sex with her? Or the apparent fact that they have very little in common with each other and when slighted feel the need to hurt the other with passive aggressive high school nonsense?

Not necessarily. It just means that they have to learn and grow more before they go back to being in a relationship.
@wilsonharp33402 жыл бұрын
Learning to deal with conflict is an essential part of the maturing process. Avoiding conflict impedes maturation. Declaring any form of conflict as toxic is exceedingly unhealthy.
@vetarlittorf18072 жыл бұрын
@@wilsonharp3340 It's not just that. It's the fact that they have nothing in common. Leonard is only interested in the idea of having a girlfriend who gives him sex and Penny is only with him because he wore her down. For god's sake. Leonard even took advantage of drunken Penny to have sex with her after they broke up the second time and the next morning he had the audacity to accuse Penny of using him. On top of that, Leonard never even trusts Penny. Like when she had a friend staying in her apartment for a few days or when he edited her collage essay on slavery because he had no faith in her doing something right or when he lied to her project partner about him being in a gang and spied on her because he was worried that she might cheat on him. Zach is a much more suitable mate for Penny and Leonard would be better off with Alex. She's the only one who could've given him a healthy relationship.
