Amazing content! It took everything not to drop this comment mid video, I appreciated it so much! in the past the scale used to rule my every emotion, but when I really started implementing CD, I told myself I was going to look at the scale as just a form of data! Exactly what you said! And i would not let it dictate my emotions for the good or the bad. I weighed myself everyday , wrote it down , even tracked when my period started , one day I would drop 3 pounds the next I was up for a few days then I would go down but ultimately the trend was always going downward SW168- CW156 if I hadn't tracked everyday I would have never seen that, I learned so much. Thank you for your content! Its much appreciated!

Yes this is happening to me. I have started weight training 3 days a week and walking every day and I’m gaining weight even though I am definitely in a calorie deficit. I’m trying to condition myself to do the 75 hard challenge after the holidays.

so true. And esp for women, water retention is so prevalent according to when we are in our cycle. During my period, I still eat at calorie deficit, and the scale says I gained 2kg + but then 3-4 days later i lose 4kg

Definitely going to start weighing in everyday, wish I didn’t listen to everyone saying once a week. Yesterday was my first month in a CD and I’m down -8lbs. I stopped comparing myself to others when I see they’re losing 20 lbs their first month on a CD. It can be discouraging thinking I’m doing something wrong when I’m not. Everyone’s different... I take pictures once a week and I see a difference for sure. I also feel better knowing you have to eat so many extra calories in order to gain one pound of body fat. My CD is 1,650 and ate about 2,200 cals one day and thought I’d be gaining body fat but I know now it takes way more than that. This makes me feel so much better, thanks again for another helpful and motivating video:)

I really appreciate and love your context, but the "alot of HIIT cardio" was a blanket statement so that needed context. If you do it correctly and you do it maybe 1 to 2 times a week, actually it will not increase cortisol as much compared to strength training and low intensity cardio

I do have a question; I fuel at least 1 hr prior to lifting in the afternoon. I have followed your advice by listening to all KZbin, etc. why am I pretty much tanked after my workout.? fuel-1/2cup of cereal w/1 scope of protein -pre workout. but after 45-1 hr I am tanked? I WORKOUT 4 times a week. weight training. and low intensity cardio. Could I be using too much protein for my pre workout? May too slow release in the tummy? Ugh hate tanking out-drained.
