What kind of glue was used for gluing the electronic components on the new back cover?

Well I use B-7000 glue to do that in this video.

No, it can not be water resistant after repaired.

What about the front screen? How do you replace that? Just the glass part, my digitizer is fine.

The glass only replacement needs professional machine and skills, and you will take the risk of ruin the whole screen. So I will recommend you change the whole screen with digitizer.
