FR ND a lot of people were disappointed but I personally don't mind because I hardly used the second screen on my V20. In my opinion the V30 does make up with so many other amazing features.

the note was my other choice if I had not gotten the LGV30 and in my opinion they are two exellent phones, you can't go wrong with one or the other and yes I agree that LG does lack in updating fast eneogh in software and that's one thing that Samsung does well. I do hope you make a wise choice in picking either one but I am sure you wont be disappointed in one or the other, Good luck with your choice!

My dream phone till now. The main selling point is the design, I really fell in love with it. It's not exaggerated (don't like notch, punch hole, or even full bezel less display), has beast headphone audio quality, still a decent camera up until now, solid and premium build quality. Software? Has never been an issue for me as it can be fixed with mods/custom ROM.

Ardee Blancas The S8, S8 Plus and Note 8 do infact have FM antennas, thanks to the Snapdragon 835 chip. Which is the same reason the V30 has the antenna. Just FYI.

Really cool video!!!!! I have owned the V10 (One of the best phones I have ever had) and currently own a V20. Sadly I will NOT be buying the V30 as they RUINED it based on your video. It lost some of the BEST things about this phone. The second screen at the top on the last 2 phones really set the phone apart and I LOVE that little screen. Battery is no longer removable? FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3,300mah battery is WAY too small for a battery you can not remove. You want to make the battery part of the phone that can not be removed I'm ok with that. But it better be at least 5,000mah Or I'm out. I already have to swap a new battery in to my phone almost every day. Now I'm screwed and I'm tethered to a charger. :( Overall it's a nice looking phone. But I stay away from phones with glass backs. It adds weight for no reason, and reduces durability. While adding cost. I have no idea why they think this looks good? It does NOT. Stop trying to make phones thin and give us some damn battery life!!!!!!!!!!!! Stop making the same phone every one else makes. (Second screen was cool! And without it yours looks like all the others.) Overall the camera is this phones only redeeming feature. And it's one I can live without. So sorry LG but you failed with the V30 in my eyes. And you lost a customer. :(

True but it takes me only 45 seconds to swap a new fully charged pack in there. I kill my battery long before the day is over almost every day. I am on my phone all do for work. That might be a phone call, or web search, or texting , or whatever is needed. But 90% of the time my battery is done 4-7 hours before I'm ready to go to bed. I'm on call 24/7 so I never know what time I will be able to get to a charger. Or how long I will be able to charge for. So every night I plug my phone and my back up battery in before bed. And almost every day I have to swap that backup battery in. 3,300mah is WAY too small for a phone with a fixed battery. The average user may be ok with it but there are many people like me that can not make thru the day on a single charge.

BadmunkyWRX are you regretting it now? I love my LG V30+ in Raspberry Rose. Amazing battery and that wide angle✔ And upgraded from the V10. 😉. I do miss the tankiness of the V10 tho.(typing on it now)

I wish i could have this phone. I shoot short films in central africa. I aim at sharing amazing african stories. This LG V30 and a mobile phone stabilizer will be the perfect setup for me and would help me to stop begging for Cameras whenever i want to tell a story. Hope i get to Win this some day. LG Phones have always been modular and easy to swap parts out like volume buttons and others, i've been doing this since Nexus 4! Also never seen jerry explaining these many features, V30 is such an awesome piece of hardware!
