Just finished my Camera Lens Glass Replacement on my iPhone 10 XS Max per your instructions, no need to pull the phone apart. It came out perfect and looks brand new! I was a little nervous at first. The key to a clean lens removal is the heat gun. The heat gun in moderation makes a huge difference, because it softens the adhesive and makes it possible to chip the glass out easily. I had very little adhesive residue left over. My replacement lens from eBay for 6 dollars worked perfectly. Thanks again, you saved me $600 from Apple.

hey, great guide helped me a lot! I broke the dust mesh (seen at 0:36) when I attempted this, and wasn't able to find it on aliexpress. can you recommend anywhere to buy a replacement? I would assume this is a pretty important component?

The second method is the best choice. It is difficult to distroy the camera glass, Also, the first method would hurt the rear camera.

Basically, we pay more hat 1000k to carry a piece of glass waiting to be broken sooner or later and we all have to try to figure how to repair it at a great cost, then once repaired, you loose features the phone offered you such as the IP water-resistant, what a pain! Guys don’t ever replace your rear camera glass never unless it is broken or it is really necessary to replace other don’t do it please I’ve done it I broke my rear camera glass and from then on i had to keep on repairing my camera lens glass forever I repair it and again dusts get inside it
