He won Swedish Idol 2009 and later joined the band Skidrow. A few years ago he left the group becaus of leukemia. After declared cancerfree he focused on a solo career. His range is totaly amazing. I personaly like the build-up. Reminds me a bit of Disturbed with "Sound of silence"

For me by far the best rendition of this song, Erik and Jona Tee made a masterpiece here. The Animals version is fantastic, of course, but Erik's version made me feel the desperation portrayed in lyrics that I never felt in their version. I hope you will check out more of his amazing covers, like Dream On, All By Myself, God's Gonna Cut You Down and one of my favourites- a cover of Sabaton's Carolus Rex that he did with Tommy Johansson
