I think he's just realizing what the lyrics mean in this song. As we know, Erik has a knack for enabling us to really hear the story of the song and I think the reactor is blown away that he has heard this song so many times, but this is the first time he really hears what the song is about.

The song is way older the 60s. Melody is believed from the 17th century and earliest known recording is from 1930s and lyrics have been found written in magazines in the 1920s with different versions of the text.

Awesome song! Millions of covers of this song and up until now I thought Five Finger Death Punch is the best one because I am a metalhead but sorry FFDP you just got kicked down from the top.
