Erik Michielsen on Getting Inspired to Change Careers and Concept Capture Your Flag

In Chapter 6 of 13 in his 2015 Capture Your Flag interview, Capture Your Flag founder Erik Michielsen is interviewed by author Danny Gutknecht about the genesis of Capture Your Flag and how its intended purpose is evolving over time. Michielsen shares how he transitioned from a research career interviewing inspirational entrepreneurs about new media and technology to become an entrepreneur using media and technology to help people find their passion and connect it to a deeper purpose. He notes that by applying job experience working in technology research to personal passions and interests in interview-based storytelling, he was able to being advancing the design and framework of what would become Capture Your Flag.
