Ariana grande’s live performances of God Is A Woman are incredible! You’ve got to react to one of them

Erika, thank you so much for doing this!! You just finished off my Thursday perfectly!! I am no musical expert by any means, but in high school, I did do Choir for like two full years and 2 semesters. Two things I noticed right away when I first watched this performance is that one Ari obviously has much more control given that she’s older, and two she has a lot more darkness in her voice. She did this song when she was a lot younger and had a lot more breath to hold out notes longer like at the end. Now, she sacrifices a little bit of that for a much darker tone, which isn’t a bad thing. She also added vibrato in some places where there wasn’t before. Ariana has definitely improved and still is! I became a fan of her because she is a theater, Broadway person. I don’t vibe with her new pop style music, that’s just not me. Anyway, thanks so much again for reacting to this. Wicked is my favorite Broadway musical!! Love you and your reactions 💖

I've watched several musical theater people react to this, and your reaction is by far my favorite! It was so easy to comprehend...since I'm not a musical person and probably tone deaf 🤣. Loved the dark/bright color scheme you used...just overall really really enjoyed this reaction!

its not a "darker sound" she juse uses more balanced mix, sometimes she uses more chestier mix

It's not only that, but the position of her mouth, the phrasing, the vowels that she's using, those are stylistics choices.

Since you are brand new to this and in a jazz, R&B groove, here's something that you can sink your teeth into Gary V on the BUS doing Al Jarreau's SPAIN kzbin.info/www/bejne/kHKZe6Gipa2FqZY ......fasten your seatbelt there kid! BTW the BUS has "MANY" super talented artists in the Phillipines, Morisette, Katrina Velarde, Daryl Ong .....all of them worthy. So Hyang South Korean virtuoso may be in the handful of elite vocalists on the planet? Bridge Over Troubled Water kzbin.info/www/bejne/eWfMeZtqrqeredE good place to start, but EVERYTHING she does is worth listening to. Even if you choose not to "react" please listen to the links I've attached, So Hyang is jaw dropping good. Best of luck with your new channel!

Ariana can actually sing, I don't get it why many of her songs are heavily processed. 😕
@erikatorresmusic_2 жыл бұрын
It’s just the sound she likes! Everyone has a musical aesthetic they enjoy, some people like a processed sound :)
@yiuqwfj2 жыл бұрын
@@erikatorresmusic_ Maybe, but some artists are pushed by their labels to do things that the artists don't necessarily want to do. The lyrics in some of Ariana's songs are that silly and obscene, sometimes it's hard for me to believe that she wrote those cringy lyrics herself.
