We are selling our own handmade cutting boards!! Buy one here: www.grankvist-outdoors.com My girlfriend and I hand-craft these cutting boards ourselves in the log cabin. We can only make a few at a time, so you have to be first to buy one when a batch is released. Our first batch is signed by hand with its own unique number, representing how every cutting board is unique. They are made from hard nordic oak, making them extremely durable, holding up for a lifetime of abuse. Instead of having a plastic cutting board that really should be thrown away after 2 years. I was told that my dream of selling handmade products wouldn’t work in today's world where everything is mass produced. I want to prove them wrong. My goal is to expand into other handmade products, making a series of lifetime quality handmade goods. Breaking free from mass production, supporting our environment.

I see that many people are bothered by the higher price of Eric cutting boards. Yes, the price is higher, but you have to understand that you are buying this board with the fact that you want to support Erik and his girlfriend. It's like a donation, and the board is Erik's thank you for being part of his community. In addition, these cutting boards really have added value because Erik and his girlfriend made them themselves, which also takes some time and patience. So, in my opinion, the price is absolutely right, and the product will find its buyer.👍

And its handmade, of course its going to cost more! You're paying for the time put in to make them and they're made to last (aslong as you care for it) I'd really like to buy one but I already made a big purchase this month, if theres any left in a few weeks I'll buy one, or wait until they release more stuff. If there is even the tinyest hole in your glove or you have sweat through it (salt water) when you touch the hot end it is all over. What a fantastic place! Really beautiful little house and lovely land and scenery around you. Erick, you are a really talented man with a big vision. Both of you -- loved the video. Thank you and take care, Kevin - Australia.

Great work once again Eric. You’ve got quite the skills for crafting and fabricating these structures, you are very interesting to watch, so thanks for sharing! Love the cutting boards by the way 😊

Love the location, the skills, physical effort, end product. But the ads for the electric cars make me chuckle. Oh yea, the dog is adorable.

Nice fireplace. I’ve been cleaning and repairing them for 30 years and that’s water tight and very well insulated.

23:58 is the sort of wholesome image you find on the top of a very expensive brand of biscuit tin. Such a joy!

What we are seeing in the videos that Eric has posted building his house is the "good stuff" I'd love to see a montage of the many many mistakes Eric has mentioned throughout his build the challenges that he faced and overcome after all that's what built his home that we are privileged to watch

You may want to put some loose stones in that gap between the stone cap and the footing of your chimney top. That open space will become home to bird nests rather quickly and then they'll catch fire. Around here, we'd be required to install steel mesh as a deterrent and spark arrestor.
