B-52 still is very useful as a long range bomber, the A-10's role isn't as prevalent anymore and can be done by other aircraft like the F-35, F-15E, and AH-64. No disrespect to the A-10, it's a great aircraft and is amazing at what it does but that thing isn't as useful nowadays.

After new wings,new weapons, the usaf is getting rid of the best ground attack bird for the F-35. The F-35 can't evan strafe.

I got to meet her at the clovis air show last year for my birthday and she is a wonderful person and excellent pilot and is an inspiration to many. Sad to see the Hog demo go its a beautiful plane and truly a life saver!

Altitude and airspeed to the safety officer to make sure she has the height and speed to complete the maneuver

It is designed for the CAS role. The control surfaces are massive. Those high bypass turbofans do it for me.
