@@TwinSister1957thinking by Village council is disposal of waste. In my case my bathroom was to be available 24/7. A locked door separating my residence would provide security and privacy for both. But that's too 🤔 simple. It's beyond waste disposal issue. Village doesn't want home owners starting a camp. Reality of things these days is economics. A quiet individual with a job living in an RV needs a safe place to live out of it. But an RV on your property means Village doesn't get taxes from that individual. I could see the Village raising your property tax if it ever came to them allowing it. We are facing increasingly difficult times and everyone cannot be on welfare for god sake.

Kinda sad that a guy keeping himself to himself and doing his own thing is kicked off a plot of land that he maintained to a decent level of tidiness, which otherwise stands empty and unused. If only the land owner could see it from a homeless/squatters point and maybe consider taking a small negligible amount of rent. We have thousands of homeless here in the UK, people sleeping in shop doorways, in tents and other obscure locations, each with their own story. True. but also some people suffer save money and then suffer a catastrophic loss that wipes them out such as a huge co- pay on a medical bill. A nursing home. You CAN do everything 'right' and wind up in bad circumstances. There but for the Grace of God go I is a motto I live with.

Once someone becomes “homeless” it is very hard for them to get out of that situation. Most employers don’t want to hire homeless people - they have no way to shower and clean themselves for interviews, they have no address for proper paperwork, or bank accounts. Then if they are able to be hired, and are able to get to and from work as Joe mentioned how much are they making? After taxes are taken out is there enough left over for rent, food, utilities, etc? There are a lot of people with jobs struggling right now, and it will only take one car mechanic bill or some other unexpected expense for them to miss a rent payment and be evicted… which pretty much guarantees no one will rent to them again. Then, once they’re homeless, they risk losing their job, and then have the hardship of trying to get hired while homeless

@@ErikKSwanson Where there’s a will, there’s a way. God helps those, who helps themselves. I don’t wish this situation on anyone, but there’s always a way. IF the person wants it bad enough.

@@Adub86 And some are unlucky due to fate. It happens. Not everyone just magically gets housed because they worked. There's plenty of working homeless out there. Now yes some could get lucky and make it out however its sheer luck at that point with a combination of "there's a will, there is a way". While yes its true you should put you all into something and try as hard as you can, however at the end of the day fate still decides in the end how lucky you'll be. You can pray and hope god will save you all day and work 3 jobs however luck is luck.
